the 2014 January-May bsquared calendar is open for booking!

A new year, a new slideshow on the top of the blog, a new Facebook bsquared page header banner and a new calendar open for booking! I’m happy to let you know that I am keeping my pricing the same as it was in 2013. (pricing & packages information can be found here). If you have an event on a date that is not listed on the calendar, please email me and we’ll see if we can work it out. In addition, I’ll be offering communion mini sessions this year- email me or leave a comment below if you are interested in one. You can find the link to the calendar here. Looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces in 2014 and making it the best year for bsquared yet!

And because I hate posting without a photo, here’s a side off of the first annual bsquared christmas card.

    deadlines & deliveries

Ahhh, a very engaging and exciting blog post heading your way today. Yeah, not really but gotta get it covered.

The deadline for ALL bsquared orders is Monday, December 9th. (discs, prints, enlargements, holiday cards, all bsquared products including mini books, storybook albums, lay flat albums, iPhone cases, canvases). This date ensures delivery in time for the holidays. And I will not be able to accept any orders after 12/9.

This is what my office looked like at about 12am this morning: (sorry about the blurry spots, don’t want to give away anyone’s christmas cards!) via crappy iPhone picture. All the yellow stickies are so I know what each order is still waiting for to be completed.

And then what it looked like around 2am. My packaging elves (read: me) were very busy last night.

I’m expecting a ton more deliveries today and early next week. Keep those orders coming!! I’m heading back to editing, expect some more fantabulous blog posts next week. And then in January, I will have a chance to edit and blog all my personal pictures from the summer, fall and winter. I hope.

    in the weeds

I am so far in the weeds that at this point you couldn’t find me with a thresher. Or some other farm equipment. Taking a “break” from blogging client sessions today (and not because I’m not editing nearly 24/7) but I have a busy day ahead today with some paperwork, order packing, and a trip into NYC for a luncheon. Client sessions back in full swing tomorrow.

Wanted to mention that the fall 2013 bsquared calendar is now fully booked. If you’re interested in a session but didn’t get a date, please email me and I’d be happy to add you to the waiting list. Sometimes people do have to cancel or reschedule so you never know what might open up. At this time, I’m not adding anymore dates but if I can catch up a little on editing I might open a day or two more for sessions. Maybe. How’s that for certainty? A big thank you to all of my fantastic bsquared clients both old and new who make my calendar so busy and my files so filled with amazing photos!!

And cause I hate posting without a picture, we’ve had some awesome skies and sunsets this late summer/fall.

sailing into fall (more like hurdling thru space out of control into fall)

So far everyone who has seen me in person this morning has asked if I’m okay. The only thing I can say about that is “it’s busy season!”. So yes, I’m fine but completely in over my head and so beyond tired. If you do see me in person over the next 3 months, just expect that I’m going to look exhausted, disheveled (more than normal), and  like that proverbial deer in the headlights. Glad our December Florida vacation is booked and I can just keep my eye on that, but just have to make it thru busy season first.

Editing like a psycho, doing a million shoots, processing client orders, packing orders, blogging, getting out the last of the welcome packets, bookkeeping, and working on some projects for later this year all at once. Plus, dealing with all the things that having two boys as freshmen in high school in NYC brings (in a brand new school that is extremely challenging) and a 3rd grader with an occasionally busy modeling career and my head is about to pop right the eff off. So, just be kind and lie and say I don’t look like death warmed over even when I do.

Tomorrow a real blog post is coming your way but today Timmy and I are off to Brooklyn for him to film a commercial. Ya know, in my free time.
