    bob goes to pilates

Keeping fit in the busy season is important for those nightly trips back to the North Pole, so Bob came along for a workout at Pilates Absession with me.

This is the part (so early in the workout) where Bob decided that “this is bullsh*t”. A little barre work. Ab work on the barrel. Some pointers on his form from Karen (my trainer). Bob has a hard time getting into tabletop but liked the Bosu. He thought it was ‘bouncy’. Finishing up on the TRX and stretching on the tower.  He didn’t like the TRX anymore than I do. Which means he hates it. I don’t think he’ll be going back.

    bob is back!

We have anxiously been awaiting the return of Bob the elf, and today on December 1st he made is long awaited holiday debut! It’s funny what this little guy gets up to at 2am! Love that Bob not only refers to himself in the 3rd person, but that he goes with the old school LiteBrite. The boys have all started the day with smiles on their faces after seeing Bob this morning. And for those who know us, you know that’s a big deal!

For those of you interested, you can see Bob’s adventures from last year and his travels this year on the blog by going to categories above and clicking on ‘elf on the shelf’.

baseball trip 2011- day 6 Milwaukee

Ok, so these are the ONLY 2 pictures I took on our last day of vacation. We said goodbye to the Ziparos the night before since they were leaving at around 6am on Saturday morning and you know we weren’t getting up that early. We had some breakfast, packed up the rest of the bags and hit the road to Milwaukee (only 2hrs this time). On the way, we stopped at Mars Cheese Castle. No, really. Ken bought some cheese. I waited in the car.

We checked into the really nice hotel (they were all 2 story condos) and I made the executive decision that I was NOT going to any more baseball games. 5 in 5 days was enough. The boys sat in the very top/last row in the stadium right under the retractable roof. Good thing too, as it was raining. But the even more good thing is that the game wasn’t a rain out and we don’t have to go back to Milwaukee. (I’m sure it’s a lovely town. Just need to finish these baseball trips so we can start on Europe.)

So that concludes the baseball adventure for 2011. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. And Bob.
