emily’s 1st communion
Another beautiful communicant making her debut here on the bsquared blog. Not only was Emily a fabulous girl to photograph, she lives in the house I grew up in! It was beyond strange being there. Although very redone, its still the same in a few ways and it was so weird to be “home”. Her room is even my room (still pink). I told the kids how I used to climb out the window to sit on the roof on sunny days (although I did mention that i was significantly older, and obviously significantly more stupid!). At any rate, please enjoy Emily and her lovely family on her special day.

sonia’s 1st communion
The very first communicant of the season started off on the best note. Gorgeous, sweet girl and her lovely family who are first timers with bsquared. I’ll be shooting their party soon, but if their session here was any indication- the party will be a blast!

lila’s first communion
Finally, posting the last of this season’s communions and couldn’t think of a better way to end it! This little beauty actually made her communion a few weeks prior to this shoot and we were scheduled for that day for pictures, however it was a nor’easter that day. And then the next time we rescheduled to, it rained again. We finally got our nice day and took lots of pictures. I think it was worth the wait!

mae’s 1st communion
The very last communion for this family- totally bittersweet! I’ve loved photographing them all over the (many, many) years that I have. Miss Mae looked so beautiful and so grown up on her special day. The house was filling up with guests so we got in as much as we could before she ran off to have lots of fun with her friends and family. Hope we’ll see eachother again for another shoot soon!

the laur family
Another brand new to bsquared family that was just SO much fun to photograph! They were so chill and just happy to be together- it was a great thing to see. I especially loved the “elf on the shelf” communicant, the star wars themed party, using your brother as an armrest and the dog hamming it up on the bed- yeah, the dog isn’t even theirs! It’s just visiting but feels quite comfortable apparently being part of the family. I hope to hang out with this bunch again (and maybe their borrowed dog) for more pictures someday.
