The day after their police station/jail wedding, the reception was held at the Loft at Bridgeview and was awesome! We got outside for a few portraity pictures and the rest was fairly candid work- which I love. Everyone had a great time (and i heard it got even more fun later on in the night) and the bride and groom were surrounded by lots of friends, family and love!

After going to jail taking pictures in the police station where they got married, we headed over to Village Green for a very few shots in the heat and humidity. Then we hit the train station (where they first met) and RJ Daniels (where they had their first kiss) for some pictures. I love locations with meaning! Stay tuned for their reception coming soon.

Yup, they got married in the brand new RVC Police station. The first wedding there, possibly the only wedding that will ever be there. Originally, they were getting married on Village Green with Village Hall as their rain backup. However, while it didn’t rain, it was SO HOT and humid, standing outside would’ve been miserable for everyone. And Village Hall is undergoing renovations, so we moved to the new police station. Super fun and made a great backdrop for me- especially in the jail cells! Big thanks to the RVCPD for being fun & good sports and to our Mayor for being the officiant.

If you remember, I shot this couple’s engagement session (they had been engaged for a while already, but wanted some beach pictures before the wedding for their sign in board and displays) on bikes on the boardwalk not too long ago. Here’s the first part of their small & lovely wedding- some portraits at the bride’s parents house. Jacqueline made a beautiful bride!
