the petri family {a marine corps family}
I’m meeting the BEST families thru my personal project (free sessions for active duty military families), and this bunch is certainly no exception! It took a little while for the baby to warm up, but once she did it was awesomeness the rest of the shoot. 3 sweet girls, and mom & dad are both Marines. How great is that?? Help me in thanking them for their service and for working to keeping us safe!

emmy is one!
One of the most beautiful and fun babies I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, now twice! Once as a newborn and again when she turned one. This time even the grandparents and her dad were in on the session, some of them traveling quite a ways to join in. You may need to sit down for the level of cuteness to follow. You know you can hear the giggle from the picture on the right!

Hope all of you had a wonderful, full of family, good food, friends Thanksgiving. I think I will never eat again. Still in a food coma this morning but back at it- still lots of sessions to edit and cards to make. A family that I haven’t seen in a few years came back for photos this year with a whole new person included. Love their fun, outgoing, silly personalities. And the colors of the foliage that day were awesome.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this family MANY times over the years- they are among my favorites, and for good reason. This year we headed back to the beach for an extended family session with the whole gang. So much fun, chaos, and what was my last beach session for 2014. I miss it there already…

the mari family
A brand new to bsquared family, with two completely adorable boys (the older one with tons of energy and spunk- which i love!) and super nice parents. So glad I got to meet and photograph them. The big guy loved his balloon, and balloons scream childhood fun so I had to include it in a few shots. So nice meeting all of you and hope to photograph you again sometime soon!
