    the bodk family

I’ve photographed mom of this little family (and I guess baby Brady, too while he was not born yet!) during an extended family session last year. She’s the sister/sister-in-law of some of my favorite clients, and after this session I can safely say that they are now some of my favorites too! Such great people and a baby that just does not stop smiling. Or being cute!

I mean, come ON with that face!!

I think his parents are just a little in love with him. Smiles all the time.Pretty much every session I do, I realize that at least one person in the family looks like a famous actor. I vote Diane Lane for mom, especially from The Outsiders. I guess someone was hungry. Loved dad’s tattoos so much, had to get them in some pictures. And it made me all happy that he was willing to do so!An updated version of the picture they took when Brady was first born. So great hanging with you guys, thanks for a great session!

    the sche family

Took a trip out to East Hampton for a new to bsquared extended family session that didn’t go quite as planned. Not very long into the session in their backyard, there was a beehive that got disturbed and then all hell broke loose. You can only imagine what happened from there. One of the kids got stung at least 14 times. I felt so terrible but the hive wasn’t visible at all (must’ve been underground) and there was nothing we could do except run inside and try to keep the bees outside. We were able to do a few more pictures with the “unstung” kids and parents in the front of the house later. I’m really hoping you can’t “tell” in the pictures about the traumatic events of the day. Never had anything like this happen before (ok, once a dad got stung by a wasp at a park shoot) and I’m still trying to feel better about it. So enough about that, just enjoy the photos of this super cute family!

    the kust family

A brand new to bsquared family who I was so happy to meet and photograph. Their little girl was so full of spunk and personality- I was pretty happy she wasn’t terribly mobile yet as I know it would have been a big challenge for me to keep up with her if she was. Such a pleasure meeting all of you and I hope you enjoy your pictures!!

    the cowa family

I’m back from the blogging dead!! So sorry it’s been so quiet around here lately- its really hard keeping up with work in the summer with the boys home, no semblance of a schedule to be found, trying to keep everyone happy and busy, which all = no time to edit and work. But I’m back (at least for a blog or two) and will be back for good once school starts in about 2 weeks. I also have to get the bsquared fall calendar up (september-november) and I’m hoping to get that done this week as well. Stay tuned for that.

A special extended family, most of who you have already seen here on the blog. Multiple times. Love, love this family and so glad I got to meet the rest of them at this great location out east.

Look at the feet. Love that they’re so synchronized!A special request photo. They had their wedding portrait in this exact spot in this exact pose. Then we added in their beautiful family.

    the mcca family

A new to bsquared family who was gifted with a session from a mutual friend/coworker/client. They chose their family’s home with the most amazing backyard- the landscaping was beautiful and there were even some velociraptors hiding in the bushes. No, really. Little Miss M was a little shy of me at first, but she warmed right up and we had a great time playing and taking some pictures. I heard her 1st birthday is coming up soon, so sending some happy birthday wishes your way miss M.

I mentioned above about the landscaping outside, but the inside was just as amazing. Hundreds (and I’m not exaggerating) of amazing guitars everywhere with all kinds of rock memorabilia all over. Lots of Beatles, Hendrix, The Who, etc. I didn’t know where to look first.
