    School’s out for summer….

244_4465_2 Today was the last day of school. Really just 1hr this morning (so silly) but now it’s all over until September. We did not sign the boys up for any kind of camp this summer, so it will either be really fun and relaxing, or really, really bad. I am trying to be optimistic. But I am hoping between the beach club and the country club, we will all have plenty to do to keep us busy. I am planning on signing them up for swimming and golf lessons at the country club, so there will be at least a tiny bit of structured time in there. Let’s hope for good weather.

Anyway, the boys got their report cards today (and can I please just be a mom and brag a little?) and wow! They did such an incredible job this year. I was so impressed. They are really excelling- especially at math. Yeah, anyone who knows me knows that their math grades are so NOT from me. They had wonderful comments from their teachers. I am so glad they like school. Here are some shots of them with their teachers this year. 3rd grade, here we come! I can’t believe that they are going to be in the "upper half" of the school (they group it Kindergarten-2nd, 3rd-5th) and they will be a kindergarteners big buddy next year. It was just yesterday that they were the little buddies. Sigh. 244_4453web

    Mister Bob-bob

Tommorrow is the last day of school and I think Timmy will be sadder than the boys. Timmy just LOVES the school custodian Mr. Bob-bob. Everyone at school calls him Mr.Bob, but Timmy gave him a second bob, cause he loves him so much. When we drop off at school in the morning, Timmy always asks to go in to see his best buddy. They pal out, and often Timmy feeds Bob-bob some cheerios. When Bob was out sick for a few months, Timmy didn’t know what to do with himself. It’s going to be a long summer without his Bob-bob fix, but we’ll have to go in to visit a few times. Img_2741copyweb Img_2738pr

    scrapbooking again

Trying to get back on the scrapbook end of things here. I am up to February, so I am at least making some progress. There are so many ideas in my head about minibooks that I want to do, so I have to get at least a little caught up on my regular albums. I jumped on the ‘american crafts d-ring 12×12 binder album’ wagon and am now using those for my albums. I am still scrapping chronologically (I can’t help myself-it speaks to my anal nature) but am now scrapping in a bunch of different sizes (12×12, 8×8, 8.5×11, 6×6) and putting them all in one book. That was a big step for me, but I really like the way it looks with all of the different size pages layered on top of eachother. And I am also now throwing in all my pages into one big album instead of making one album for Jack and Patrick, one for Timmy and one family album. I’m even planning on throwing some pages about me in there! Another non-anal breakthru. Here are some of the pages in the new album. 248_4865 248_4866 248_4867 248_4868 248_4869 248_4870 248_4871 248_4872

Family photo shoot- The B family

247_4753sccbw I must be very lucky because I took some pictures for another very nice, very photogenic, easygoing family this past weekend. I think we all had fun. The kids were great sports and the parents were relaxed and happy. What a pleasure! Their album is on the left (click to view). Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot. 247_4718scrccbw

    buddies

Timmy and his friend Jack zoning out on the TV and having a little dance party with lollipops. I think they were dancing to some Backyardigans song…244_4494 244_4496 It was too cute not to post.
