what I’m thankful for
Um, pretty much everything and everyone in my life. That I have a fantastic, supportive husband who helps out as much as he can around here. That we’ve been married for 15 years and together for 17. That I have 3 absolutely amazing boys that I adore (and who seem to really like me too. Most of the time). That they are kind, (super) smart, loving, fun and healthy. That I have a wonderful extended family and the best friends anyone could ask for. All people who will drop everything and go out of their way to help out.
And that I get to do what I love for a living. That I have the best clients, ever. And that busy season is so busy, even in this crappy economy. That people come to read this blog everyday and that new and past clients keep referring their friends.
That we have a fridge full of food and pantry stocked to the gills for today’s Thanksgiving celebration. That we are all healthy (relatively) and that we have a warm, safe home to live in. That even though I’m exhausted constantly that just means that I’m healthy enough to work and love my family.
Thankful for it all.
I am hoping that all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving today and get to spend the day with those you love!
And since I haven’t had a personal post in ages, here’s a ton of pictures for your viewing pleasure. Took them at the beach club this summer (ah, summer. I wish it still was. I’ve already started wearing my coat inside the house so you know that it’s officially winter- at least in my world. 30 days until Florida!) and I love each of them more than the next.

the frie family
Last year with this family was a bust. A total disasterous weather bust. As in, I didn’t get to do the shoot at all because of lots of rain. But I am hoping the pictures from this year make up for it.
I travelled up to White Plains for their shoot which we did in Dad’s parents park backyard. Um, I think I need to rent this place out. The light- fantastic. The family- even better than that!

the kopp family {mini session}
A new to bsquared family with a great family dynamic- 3 boys, 2 of which are twins (sound familiar?) But they are in the opposite direction from my family- their single is the oldest and the twins are the youngest. And they are big Disney fans- vacation club owners too. Need I say more? Liked them all immediately.
They were my last shoot of the day on the mini session day and I was really worried about the light due to the sun setting earlier and earlier (which I really, really hate by the way. Not just for photography reasons either- I hate winter- cold + dark. Blech.) But it all worked out and we got some great shots. -
the kell family {mini session}
It was my first time photographing this family last fall (ya know, after mom stalked me for months to get a date!) and worked with them in the spring for their oldest son’s communion. I was lucky enough to book them for a mini session after mom won a bsquared gift card that I donated to a local school fundraiser. And now they even have a new addition to their already fabulous bunch of 4 boys- a little girl!!
Oldest and youngest. 
The little one on the right has come such a long way with me! He used to be shy and scared and really hard to get a smile out of. Now he just plops right down in front of the camera and is ear to ear grins!
This one was most excited for the birth of his little sister, I think. 
Perhaps some of you remember the Yankees-wear from last year. Guess they were in a football mood this year!

the merin family {mini session}
You’ll recognize this uberfabulous family from the blog header and if you are a blog stalker (which of course I hope you are!) from their fantastic shoot and & video from last year. While they really, really wanted to do a shoot at Central Park or someplace else ‘different’, we had to make it work at Tanglewood because that was all that was available in my schedule. I think we made it work out just fine!
