    joanna’s first communion

Another new to bsquared family, and one that I already love! Such wonderful, sweet, kind kids and great parents. And a joy to photograph. I was happy!!

    Gorgeous and fun? Fantastic combination!

Apparently, finding a mantilla for a child is very difficult, but her mom did find one online and wow….so worth it!!There ended up being 2 bouquets so someone snagged the other one. Happened to match her dress perfectly. And are you dying of the bowtie?!When they brought me upstairs and I saw the window it just made the day even more perfect.  Thanks for a fantastic shoot. Hope the actual communion is wonderful!

    the joha family

Met this a.dor.able 8 week old baby and his lovely mom & dad for the first time and was instantly smitten. I mean, when this is the smile you get, how could you not be in lurve.

This one was actually the first photo of the day. Delicious!!We tuckered him out! It’s hard work doing all that smiling and cooing! Great meeting all of you and thanks for sharing the morning with me!

I’ll be taking the long weekend off from blogging (and no shoots this weekend either!!) as I’m in need of a little break since things have been so busy. Check back on Tuesday for more fantastic communions, families and lots more of the usual stuff! Hope everyone has a great weekend, and please remember that Memorial Day weekend isn’t only about going back to the beach, but all of the service men and women who have sacrificed their lives and who continue to fight to keep us all free and safe.

    patrick’s first communion

Ok, so I wasn’t technically working this one, but they were at the same mass as my client and we were all invited to the party afterwards so I couldn’t very well NOT take pictures!! Thanks again Suzanne & Rob for the invite and for not caring that I showed up wiped out and in my sweats!! You guys are the best and I know everyone had a great time at the party! Congrats again to Patrick and so glad the boys and Robert hit it off!

Just happened to catch the one on the left thru the huge crowds. Love it!Suzanne always helps me out by putting Mary in the window to get good weather- especially during communion season. She definitely works!!

    katelyn’s first communion

A favorite family to photograph and always a joy to watch the girls grow up over the years. Katelyn looked lovely on her 1st communion day and had lots to celebrate.

Luckily, the rain just held off long enough for our pictures. It was disgusting and humid and overcast, but not raining. Yes, I know. Cuteness off the charts!A little communion spin.Beautiful!!Grandparents are always a welcome addition to the pictures. Especially when they do whatever they can behind the scenes to make the kids laugh!

    chicks

Not the girl kind, but the peeps kind. Timmy’s Kindergarten class learned all about the chicken life cycle and got to experience it first hand. They went from eggs in the incubator to real, live fluffy little baby chicks!

Can you die of the cuteness???

I’m kinda partial to the yellow ones. Although it looks like they are poking the heck out of the chick, they were actually very gentle. They all got names. This one is Darth Vader. Timmy is holding Chewbacca. I took pictures of all the kids holding their choice of chick. I didn’t put them all on the blog today, but you will get them if you are a parent in Ms. J’s class. The focus isn’t so great on this one- they move pretty quickly! Can you pick the fake chick out of the lineup? The real chicks surround it and peck at it. Seriously, dying of the cuteness!!! Too bad they grow up to be chickens.  A big thank you to Ms. J and her whole class as well as Ms. M for letting me come in and take some pictures.

    Peep.
