    the mcwa family

A new to bsquared family, but a family (well, at least a mom) that I’ve known for a while thru school. So glad I got to meet the rest of them and take some family photos for them this year, before their oldest is off to college next year. We braved Hempstead Lake after Sandy and found some small areas that weren’t totally wrecked and still had a few leaves here and there.

I found out that this gorgeous young lady is a dancer so I asked her to indulge me for a moment or two. Very impressive, especially considering the skinny jeans.

    the evan family

All my blog stalkers out there will be sure to recognize this family from their birth session (yup, the whole delivery) over a year ago. Mr. Jake is getting so big and is just THE smiliest, happiest toddler around. It was f-f-f-freezing outside when we had our makeup session (we were supposed to do a mini session in Central Park but the poor baby had a big fever so we had to reschedule, then came Sandy, so we had to reschedule again. Twice.) and he was such a trooper.

Mom demonstrating how to wear the hat. And being her fabulous self.

    introducing…baby rory

I was so excited to meet this adorable new little one, and to see the rest of her awesome family. She came into the world in the middle of Sandy and all the craziness thereafter. That’s some start to life, but as her parents welcomed her she was blissfully unaware of all the chaos around her. And still is (with a big brother and big sister running around too!)

    the pede family

Love photographing and visiting with this family, they always make me laugh and smile. Going extra short on narrative- gotta edit.

One of the only ways to get boys to really smile……and yes, I did get hit.

    the bttu family

A brand new to bsquared family with 3 boys (sound familiar?). We had their session just after the big snow storm which was just after Sandy. They have a gorgeous outdoor living room complete with a fireplace- and with all the snow still on the ground it looked like a ski lodge instead of a home on Long Island!
