    the kear family

A brand new to bsquared family who opted for a backyard extended family session, with a concentration on the 4 sisters. I’m an only child, so imagining being one of four sisters is really hard. But they look so happy and like they get along really well. Such a great family- hope they had as much fun as I did! It was a little breezy during their session, but we made it work for us! All good looking, even the dog.

    Fierce! You work it girl.

    a sleepover

I know its been a while since I blogged (sorry!) but we were away last week on vacation to Seattle and Denver. John is closing in quickly on his goal of taking the boys to every major league baseball park in the country (and Canada). And after this trip I think they only have like 2 stadiums left, both in Texas. More on the trip soon- I have to get caught up on editing client sessions before I can even think about working on the trip’s photos. Coming up on the blog soon…an extended family backyard session, a blondie family beach session, a family session in an amazing yard with dinosaurs (don’t worry, you’ll see soon), a ginormous extended family session on the east end of long island, and a beautiful & casual hamptons wedding. I have my editing work cut out for me.

In the meantime, here’s one from a recent Timmy & James sleepover. Taken at 12:17am. They had stuff to do and discuss, couldn’t get them to sleep but it was good for the picture taking!

    the kell family

A new to bsquared family, but not new to me. Family friends we’ve known for a long time (thru the fire department) that I FINALLY got to photograph. I think we’ve had to reschedule at least 3-4 times due to weather, sickness, work schedules, etc. Its been almost 2 years in the making for this session. Although it was a super windy night at Silver Point beach (we stuck to the dunes for the majority of the session as the wind was blocked a little there) the kids were great and we had some fun.

    the sabi family

You may recognize Mr. Jack from his communion portraits a few weeks back, but otherwise this is a brand new to bsquared family with such cuuuuuuuute kids! We had lots of laughs hanging out together and just being silly at a beautiful location. I was even able to convince mom to jump in for just a few photos (you know how important I think being in the photos with your family is!!), so I considered the whole session a big success!

    ben’s prom

Another great pre-prom party I got to photograph for one of my favorite bsquared families. Ben graduated and will be heading to University of Michigan in the fall, but had a fun prom night to take care of first. The pre-prom party was at our friends’ house so there were lots of familiar faces in the crowd. I don’t know how they all looked so phenomenal- it was about 150,000 degrees out (give or take), and how the guys in their tuxes weren’t dying.

Ben looked so handsome in his tux- a felt a rat pack vibe going on…

If Ben’s grandparents look familiar, its because Ben and Rachel are cousins, so they were in my last blog post too. Some faces in the crowd…Some of my favorites!Jumped in one shot w my friend Fran (who was hosting the party). Yeah, not the most flattering pic of me (I was a sweaty, frizzy, red mess) but whatever. Do you remember Tina from her prom last year? The reflection in the pool was my favorite. Hope you all had a wonderful prom night!
