    biosoft & praesid

One of the greatest things about my job is that I get to learn about all kinds of different things while photographing them or doing graphics work. Besides the usual photography I generally do like families, children, headshots, parties, events etc. I can add bands/concerts, yoga, physical therapists, dancers of many varieties, lawyers, dentists, bikers, beard care, baseball, football, jewelry, bars, food and now I can add dialysis to my list. It’s never boring! I worked on a logo, website and business card for Keith as well as some photography for his website. Here’s a bit of that session.

    sydney’s bat mitzvah- the party

Here’s some other highlights from Sydney’s special day. The party was a lot of fun, the kids were awesomely polite and well behaved (I know a lot of them and was seriously impressed with their behavior!) and the girl of the day looks like she had a great time with her family and friends. A gorgeously appointed room with lots of red and a NYC theme, no detail was overlooked.

    sydney’s bat mitzvah- the temple

I’ve known Sydney (at a distance) for a very long time, so it was a pleasure to be able to photograph her special day. Since it’s a conservative temple, there’s no photography allowed on the sabbath when the actual bat mitzvah would be taking place. So, we faked it. Nevertheless, Sydney looked beautiful and I got to hear a little bit of her torah portion and meet the rest of her awesome family. I decided to break up the blog post into two parts, so stay tuned for the party part soon.

    ryan’s bar mitzvah

Long time bsquared clients who recently celebrated their only son’s Bar Mitzvah. I was so happy to be able to capture the service and a bit of the Oneg Shabbat following the service. Ryan (I believe) was the first Bar Mitzvah boy in their brand new temple building- which was beautiful and filled with light and love from his friends and family. And for unknown reasons, no matter when this family and I schedule their session it never fails to be the coldest day of the whole year. It was this day as well. At least we were indoors and we kept our streak alive.

    the colomb kids

Still catching up on the blogging backlog. Another favorite bsquared family with a new addition of the furry variety. He looks like a stuffed animal and is so cute, he fits right into the family! They sure do love him a lot!
