snow!

Just a little, and really more ice pellets than actual snow. But that all means nothing to a 2.5 year old! So into the snow we went with his new boots, "funny" hat, hand me down waterproof coat, and Diego mittens. He had a great time for about 20 minutes until his hands got freezing cold and all wet. I think the dressing and undressing took longer than the actual outdoor playtime. But it was all worth it!

All pictures taken with my "old" newly repaired camera. I was pleasantly surprised on how they turned out. So now I can relax myself a little bit on the three upcoming shoots. One user error on my part- forgot to check the settings and I had my ISO set way high (like 1800) so I ended up with some blown spots on his cheeks and lots and lots of grain. A quick trip thru Noisewear got rid of the grain, but no easy fixes on the hot spots.

And no word yet from Canon on the broken 30D. Aaarrghhhhhh! Did I mention that it’s only 2 months old? And broken?
