tricia & bill- the reception

Back to the super fun beachy wedding today. Still working on the portraits so today’s installment is the reception. And what a blast THAT was!

Had this shot in my head from the minute I saw the MEN and WOMEN signs. Love it!!

Some reception details:Some shots from the first dance.Ya know I loved the shoes! The blessing. The toast from the best man. It was a great toast and moved many to tears. A little Charlie’s Angels homage.

Ok, so not only the bride had fabulous shoes. Check out her dad’s kicks. Partay.Watching the slide show..Couldn’t love Trish’s face more in the right photo. Most of the guys at the wedding are somehow football related (coaches, players, etc). So you know there was some good butt slappin going on.
It was really a great party! Stayed tuned for tomorrow’s portrait photos.

visitors day(s)- more catching up

Yeah, so this is a little late but I guess that’s what the catching up is all about. Visitors day at Jack & Patrick’s school back in MAY!!! and Timmy’s camp in early July. Some with the point n shoot, some with the big guns. Happy Sunday, everyone.

Boys and grandmas and the houses that they built to withstand a hurricane (which was a leaf blower).

baseball camp (catching up)

Ok, I’m so behind on my personal posts so I’m going to try to catch up on them over the weekends. For now anyway, until the fall sessions start piling up and I can only post client pictures 7 days a week. I’m so far behind that I haven’t blogged stuff from our trip to Jamaica in May or the end of the school year stuff.

So anyway, here are a few shots from the big boys baseball camp they went to the last week of June/first week of July. Enjoy your weekend!

tricia & bill- the ceremony

Although I got lost on the way to the wedding venue (omg, can you say freaking out!!!) , I made it barely in time to start shooting the ceremony. Barely. I was totally in panic mode, but it was all for nothing as it was all good and I got all the shots I needed.

They really couldn’t have ordered a better, more beautiful day for their beachfront wedding. Perfect blue skies, breezy and warm. And a couple SO in love, you could see it in every part of their day.

Dad did a great job giving his little girl away. I was so happy that I captured the way the bride and groom looked at eachother throughout the ceremony.Ceremony from the front. And the back. And it really does not look we were on Long Island at all, but someplace in the tropics.
Getting the ring is sometimes a tricky thing. And the kiss. Married!!!Stay tuned after the weekend for the reception and the portraits. Tons more to come…

tricia & bill- getting ready

An introduction to my next bride and groom- Tricia & Bill who I just loooooved working with! Much more on them, their friends and family in upcoming posts, but in the meantime some pictures of the bride getting her well, ‘bride on’ before the big event.

We met up at their hotel for some getting ready shots with hair and makeup. And lots of help getting it all together!

Possibly the best wedding shoes. Ever. Isn’t she a lovely, easy going bride? Just beautiful!!Two of the important things that helped us all get thru the day: Zoraida, my second shooter, and lots of double sided tape to keep everything where it’s supposed to be. Lots more pictures to follow- ceremony tomorrow!
