bcause i said so photoshoot
A friend of mine and her sister (who is now pretty much my friend too!) started a business a while ago called "bcause i said so", doing t-shirts for kids. Their stuff is super cute and original. If you haven’t before, you should check out their website at www.bcauseisaidso.com I have posted about them on the blog before. Well, today we did a photoshoot for some of the shirts that are supposed to be featured in Newsday magazine sometime in the spring. We had 6 kids all told- one of which was mine. The girls and the boys you should also recognize as they have both had photoshoots and been on the blog before.
The big boys were not interested this time, but I’ll try again with them. The "on the tooth fairy’s payroll" would be beyond perfect for them- but you know Patrick will NOT open his mouth to smile, so you wouldn’t be able to tell anyway!
Anyway, here are a few shots from today. What do you think? The rest are in an album on the left under "bcause i said so". Enjoy!

the mcc/sch family party
Finally edited the Christening that I shot back in November! The mom was super kind to me and let me get thru all the Christmas work I had to edit in order to get cards out on time for other clients. She said I could wait until the new year to work on hers. Well, after 2 days of work…they are done. You can view the whole album on the left side of the blog under the mcc/sch family party. Click on any image to see it larger. I did a little sneak preview on the christening previously on the blog, but here are a few more of my favorites.

Growing up squared!
A new idea that I had been thinking over for a while. A "grow up" plan. I will be offering a limited number of spaces in the plan, so if you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible.
The details are all listed in the card below. The locations for the shoot are of your choosing- any significant distances may be subject to a travel fee. The plan may only be used for immediate family (parents, kids, & pets)- no extended family, please. Parents do NOT have to participate, but you are welcome to be in as many or as few (or none) of the photos as you’d like. Dates during the last quarter will be hard to come-by, so I would suggest booking that quarter early. The "growing up squared" plan is not inclusive of parties or events- only family shoots. Obviously, since I am only offering this as of today, you can book the first quarter’s session upon sign-up- don’t worry about the month in advance for the 1st quarter!
If you have any questions or are interested in booking "growing up squared" sessions, please email me at bbeyrer1@optonline.net or you can always leave a comment below.

We’re baaaaack
and really, I’m not happy about it. At. All. Even though the last 2.5 days of our vacation was pretty damn cold for Florida, it was still a shade better than it is here. The flight back was thankfully fine although we did get stuck in a holding pattern over JFK for about 45 minutes, plus the fact that Timmy decided it would be a good idea to NOT NAP on the plane- or at all that day. Fun.
Overall, it was a super vacation. I got lots of relaxing time in, read 5 books (in 9 days), got 3 massages, ate at all my favorite Florida restaurants, hung out by the pool ALONE reading and listening to
John’smy ipod, swam in the pool with the kids, went to the racetrack and to the orange bowl. And got a good tan, which I’m sure is already being sucked out of my skin by the subzero temps. I wish that we had the kind of $ where we could all be snowbirds. I would live that life in a second. Some of the highlights in pictures. 1. Timmy on the plane. 2. the boys in the pool (Timmy made it in this year with no swimmy diapers- taking a chance, but it was all good). 3. Timmy in pool with a lift from daddy. 4. paradise 5. more Timmy pool. 6. more paradise..the view from Roman’s snack bar where we had lunch everyday- part of the apartment complex. 7. Patrick in the pool. 8. New Year’s- the big boys stayed up til midnight. John didn’t make it past 10pm. Fireworks over Hallandale Beach as seen from the balcony. 9. Boys conferring on the gameboy (the DSes from Christmas were charging from overuse). 10.Jack being handsome and cooperative. 11. Timmy looking for "pirate ships". 12.John on vacation- smiling and everything. And he wasn’t even drunk. 13. Timmy and his "blooooooo ice cream"- sky cream gelati from Dulce Vita- every night. He is already missing that. 14. Patrick enjoying his gelati. 15.Timmy sucked into the gameboy vortex. He has no idea what he is doing, but loves it anyway. 16.Hakka and the boys at the track- choosing their horses. 17. Boys at Gulfstream. Patrick won one race, Jack was all pouty cause he didn’t. But Patrick with the good heart shared his winnings with his brother. Gulfstream is so pretty- if they could just get rid of all the skells it would be a wonderful place! All the pictures from the trip are in an album on the left. The pictures from the Orange Bowl and from the boys only Dolphins vs. Bengals game to follow soon. We took disposable cameras to those, so gotta get them developed first.
