    introducing…baby emmy

My first time meeting mom and also beautiful baby Emmy- they were referred by my very good friend Jen. (thanks Jen!!) Spent a lovely morning with them, and even though Miss Emmy was quite reluctant to sleep for a while there, she finally settled down for a big fat nap. Even when she was awake she was never scuchy or crying. Just awake. Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

I loved how she sucked her thumb. So cute!!

    introducing…baby emily grace

My second time photographing this little family, now a family of 4 with the birth of their new little girl. They were all thrilled to welcome her to the family and I was thrilled to photograph her in all her teeny goodness. You can see their fall session when there was just the 3 of them here.

I could die of those lips! She put her hands like that all on her own.

    baby jenna

I was so happy to hear from Jenna’s mom to schedule a session for her. We did the same for her big sister Lila a few years back at around the same age so it was so nice to meet Jenna and see how grown up Lila got since the last time I saw her. She was a little reluctant with the smiles at first, but she warmed right up after a little while and we became fast friends. And the cuteness? Off the charts!

Mom sent me an email that Lila was hoping “miss beth” would come back to play again the next day. How lucky am I?Couldn’t decide which to post from the next series, so posting them all.

    maeve’s christening

This family came to me thru a referral from a photografriend Jaye of The Life In Your Years photography, and I was so thrilled to be able to take pictures for them (thanks Jaye!!). The family is actually from Texas, but mom grew up in Westchester and they always come “home” to christen their babies. I had a great time with them for the day- I loved that mom was interested in candids and moments- right up my alley. Baby Maeve was beautiful, a total gerber baby and really hung in there before going down for a much needed nap after church.

The priest was the pied piper of babies. Had little Maeve entranced the entire time.My favorite picture of the day. See…entranced. Maeve’s big sister Agnes looking on. There is a BIG story behind that little bunny named TeTe. Its going viral. TeTe went missing in the DFW airport on their way home and poor Agnes cries for him every night and so far he’s nowhere to be found. Her parents are offering a reward for anyone who finds TeTe and returns him. You can find the link to the story hereNannie just turned 90 a week before- doesn’t she look amazing?!And back to mom’s parents house for a little party.Giving me her best dinosaur. On the right, she was singing “Let It Go” at the top of her lungs, with all the movements and everything. So adorable and spot on!Dying of this one, especially the hair!
Best friends!A little ring around the rosy to end the day. Something kinda magical about little girls and holding hands.

    the owen family

Another favorite and long, long time bsquared family (who happens to be related to the family in yesterday’s post) for their annual bsquared photos. It was a bit challenging with the littler two, but thankfully some nice lady with a big dog walked by and got their attention and laughs, and she hung out behind me for a few minutes to keep their attention. Hey, ya gotta use whatever means necessary!! You can see some of their past sessions here, here, here, here and here.
