    interior design {part 3}

    The lasts of my work (so far) with Richard Law for Margoli & Flynn. In fact, Rich was over here today and we were busy swapping photography tips and workflow. Its always a great feeling when someone who’s work you respect so much tells you your work is great!

    interior design {part one}

    I’ve been doing some “extra credit” work for my photografriend Rich who is a very talented and old school photographer- we’re talking film, developing, real photography. He does a lot of work for Margali & Flynn Designs (who are amazing decorators and also do some building of homes) so I joined him on a few shoots to help cover some of the details and rooms. I learned SO much and so much that was not in my skill set, but now is! So you can teach old dogs/photogs new tricks! I always lean more towards artistic/detailed shots so I can shoot a few of those here and there during the sessions, but it’s mostly about figuring out the best angles, lighting and making sure all the smallest details are displayed perfectly. In no particular order, here are the first set of interior shots (and a few exterior/outside too).

    suzanne’s headshots

    I’ve been photographing them for years and most recently, I photographed Suzanne’s son proposal. So when she contacted me again for headshots, I was excited to see her again! Turns out, her beautiful home was designed by Margoli + Flynn who I’ve worked for my photografriend Rich shooting their interior design work. So that was pretty full circle! As you can tell, there is a navy, white and gold theme to her home, business and clothing. You know how I love coordinating stuff!
