    Respect The Game basketball {week 1}

    Wow, photographing basketball is going to take some skill building on my part! That is way faster than baseball with so much going on at once. Challenge accepted! My friend Keith asked me to come photograph his newest basketball venture with his partner Ken, so I have a standing gig for RTG weekly. There’s going to be multiple games weekly, with MVPs each game, playoffs, etc. Looking forward to upping my game (photography. not basketball. never playing!) and getting lots of good action shots of these cuties! super saturday

    Told you it was only a matter of time until we returned to Timmy  and/or basketball posts. Two weeks ago was Super Saturday and the last games of the year. Which kinda stinks cause Timmy loved it.

    The whole team and Coach.

    At the end of the games there was a free throw contest with one kid picked from each team to shoot. Two of the last three were friends of Timmy’s. Chris V (in maroon) and Tommy (in blue). Chris ended up coming in 1st and winning the contest with Tommy coming in 2nd place. Timmy went to nursery school with Arthur (on the left) who is now on his baseball team this year, and Luke (on the right) is a classmate at school. And now onto baseball. yay.

    basketball

    Today is the last game of the season, which is kinda a bummer since Timmy liked it so much. These pictures are from last week’s game- ones from today’s finals will be up on the blog another day soon. At least thats the plan.

    The only picture in color as this is the sunny end of the gym, with natural light and no weird, shadowy all different color cast lighting. Even the black and whites are all over the place despite my best attempts to edit those better.

    Teammate Tommy (who is also on Timmy’s baseball team this year- baseball season starts at the end of the month.)And Miles. The ref caught me with my camera and made Timmy turn around for a picture before resuming play. I like that guy!
