total baseball overload

Two weeks ago, the boys played a travel game in the morning and a little league game in the evening. Kinda funny watching them play on the same team in one game and then on opposing teams the next. Being a complete non-athlete myself, I don’t know how that works.

First was the Royals vs. the Blue Demons.

I still want to know how the ice cream guys know exactly when to show up at the fields. Maybe it’s like some sixth sense that you’re required to have before you can drive the truck?A few hours and a load or two of laundry later, it was time for the little league game. Patrick started at catcher.Jack at first. A little hitting and pitching from Zach.Johnny, cracking himself up between plays.Danny.Glenn who is on their travel team. Nick.Mike who is also on their travel team.Johnny. Travel team as well.Unfortunately, they lost this game but they couldn’t have been happier with the “all baseball, all day” thing they have going on. I think some of this weekend’s games are getting rained out but at least the boys were at the historic Mets game last night for the first Mets no-hitter ever.  (are you so impressed that I knew that? It’s only because I saw it on Facebook on friends statuses.)
