One of the best ideas for a party, ever! It was Ronnie’s birthday but instead of just celebrating a regular birthday, Ronnie decided to throw a joint birthday/anniversary of his bar mitzvah complete with games and a candle lighting ceremony! The party was in the penthouse party room of his apartment building with amazing views and lots of family and friends to help celebrate. I was so happy my aunt Mardi asked me to photograph the day! And if I lived in this apartment, I would get absolutely no work done because I’d be staring out the window at my favorite NYC building- The Chrysler Building. Happy birthday and Bar Mitzvah anniversary!!
I was looking forward to hearing of this little girl’s arrival and finally I got the call! Dylan is now the little sister of the “baby for all seasons” that I’ve been photographing for a few years now, so I guess he will have to have his title changed from baby to boy? Big brother? I’m so glad I got to meet and photograph her- using some of the same props from her big brother’s session. Also, she was not having being still at all! She’s like ready to crawl already.
I know it’s been a little quiet around here- I was away on a 10 day Ireland vacation and I’m just catching up.And there’s a LOT of catching up to do!
I feel like I just photographed Cassie’s bat mitzvah a few weeks ago and now she’s off to Penn State in a few weeks. So glad to see this extended family that I”ve had the pleasure of photographing for many, many years. Weddings, babies, occassions- you name it, we did it!
They had the party at Simplay which is a simulation space for basically all sports. So fun and kept all the kids (big and small) busy and happy. If that wasn’t enough, there was a dancing robot, a ton of giveaways, a candy and snack truck, dancing and a few celebrity videos including one from Ethan’s all time hero- Tom Brady! Mom somehow pulled off a personalized video message from the GOAT himself. Ethan’s reaction was priceless- he was beyond excited and so thankful! I hope the family enjoys reliving the party thru the photos for years to come!
The last portion of Soobin & Chris’s wedding I was there to photograph. When they suggested the cannon I was skeptical, but it turns out it was a fabulous idea! Make love, not war. Their poses were on point and I hardly had to do any directing at all. Wishing them all the love and happiness in their future together!
