payton’s 1st communion
Another long time bsquared family who’s youngest made her first communion this year. It makes me so happy they keep calling me for pictures, but a little sad as to how fast life goes! Payton looked gorgeous for her big day and was as sweet and sassy as always. So glad we managed to just avoid the rain!

rocco’s 1st communion
Was very excited to photograph this 2-part communion for this great family! Communion on one day and the party at Bridgeview Yacht Club on the next. Luckily we had sun and beautiful weather for the communion portraits but the next day was like a monsoon so no pictures outside. The party was a lot of fun for both the kids and the adults. And I think Rocco had a great time if his smiles are any indication! They’re really a great, happy family which makes my job a pleasure!

patrick’s 1st communion
Another first time bsquared family that was a pleasure to meet and photograph. When mom told me their son who was making his communion was one of 6 kids, I did panic a little. But I had no reason to, because they were all so great! Took a few family shots at the church before the mass and then at their party for a little while too. GaGa ball was a big hit and there was lots of fun to be had there. Patrick was such an awesome trouper for the pictures, never complained once. Great to meet you all, hope you like the photos! (oh, and cookies below from my good friend Colleen at Dover Girls Desserts. You’ll be seeing more of her work on the blog later this week too).

gavin’s 1st communion
Because his actual communion day was rainy, windy and freezing we rescheduled our session to a pretty, sunny and warm day. Much better! Such a handsome and nice young man who I’ve known since he was born. As always, so happy to photograph some of my favorite people!

gabbie’s 1st communion
Still deep into communion season around here. So glad I got to see and photograph this family for Gabbie’s big day. We met at the church right before her Mass and took some photos with the pretty, blooming trees in the background. Hope the rest of the day was wonderful (and the lollipops were saved and enjoyed AFTER the dress up clothes came off!)
