tyler’s first communion
Back into posting and editing communions for the next few days. Happy to bring you photos from Tyler’s first communion day. More of the rainy day, but we had a little break from the rain thankfully to get a few pictures in on the grounds of the church before his actual communion mass begun. I love photographing this family- they are always fun, funny and just so happy!

Grandma & Grandpa joined in for a few shots as well.

Their best friends son’s communion was during the mass immediately before theirs, so we got them all together for a few pictures, too. Nothing like celebrating with the whole gang!!

peter’s first communion
A fantastic family and a break in the rain for a little bit made for a fantastic communion session for this very handsome little man.
You blog stalkers out there are sure to recognize the whole family from lots of previous sessions and the Education Foundation gala.

And my favorite from the session…

lily’s first communion
Very, very longtime family friends I was so excited when mom asked me to photograph their daughter’s communion! We see eachother often, but I was thrilled to take some real pictures of her family this time- especially for such a great occasion! Lily was a little slow to warm up to the whole photography process, but once she did, she was asking me for more pictures. Love that!
More of the rain on this day, but thankfully they had a big white tent in the backyard with lots of bright and pretty color plants and decorations for the party to brighten things up a bit. And you kind of tend to ignore the weather with a smile like this one.

Gorgeous mommy, gorgeous daughter.

Snow White much?
Hope your party was wonderful and that you had some nicer weather by the afternoon. xoxo -
collin & owen’s communion
I’ve lost count how many times I’ve photographed this amazing family but I thoroughly enjoy every single session we have together. Mom is one of my most loyal and awesome blog stalkers who I just adore. And the boys are just delish- and identical twins! On a day that was forecasted to be sunny and nice, it was pouring and miserable. We had a like 5 feet of space to do the shoot in, but we made it work.

A big thank you goes out to my photografriend Charles for assisting me all day this day with umbrella holding, gear packing, and just generally being awesome and proactive and keeping me on time. And with me with my “just one more” that keeping me on schedule thing is much harder than one would think.

julia’s communion
A new to bsquared family celebrating their beautiful daughter’s first communion that I thoroughly enjoyed photographing at their home. She celebrates her actual communion this weekend; hoping you have a wonderful party!
What a beauty, huh?

This one was super cute but not really too excited about the whole picture taking experience. But how could you resist that little smile?
Had to make sure I got a few shots of Daddy and his little twin with matching ties and everything.

Julia’s mom had her communion dress from her communion that her mom made for her. Julia put it on for a few shots. It couldn’t have fit better if it had been made for her!
A few giggles to end the session. Always good!
