    baseball trip 2011- day 2 Chicago I

We left early Tuesday morning for the 7+ hour drive to Chicago. It was pretty and the first farm was exciting. After that it was naps, DS’s, snacks and tons of “how much longers”. We stopped for a bathroom/lunch break somewhere in Wisconsin which just so happened to be across the street from a US Military Base. There were a ton of soldiers in the restaurant and I decided I would buy whoever was on line at Subway their lunch for the day. You know how I have a real soft spot for all US soldiers. I mean, they put their lives on the line for us every day. I figured lunch was the least I could do. It was awesome!!

And they were nice enough to stop for a picture with the boys. And Bob.

The guys pictured above even gave each of the boys a “challenge coin” from their unit. They explained that you get them for doing something good for your unit and gave them to me with a handshake. It was pretty cool and quite an honor. Timmy can’t wait to bring it in for show and tell in first grade. And we finally made it to Chicago. With no time to spare, we took the subway over to Wrigley for the game. Even though they spent most of their 12th birthday in the car, they still had a good day. Grandpa Jack and Grandma Inez even flew in for the game (and left the next morning). Looked up just in time to catch this. Love it!Messing around with some sun flare. I was so bored. Then it was time for Tuesday’s surprise. Birthday wishes on the scoreboard at Wrigley! And Bob. Tried to find him a elf sized birthday hat but didn’t have much luck. He celebrated the boys birthday anyway. Well, at least he liked the game. And I can’t go another day without props to my Pilates trainer Karen who suggested Bob come along on the baseball trip. I think a lot of people thank you, Karen!!

    erin’s 40th

The lovely Erin turned 40 recently and had a big party at Two Steak and Sushi Den to celebrate. She asked me to photograph a bit of her evening and I was more than happy to. Two is super trendy and has such cool decor. I’m sure the food was great too!

Such a pretty birthday girl!!The birthday girl with her parents and her sons. How cute is that baby?! Happy birthday Erin!

    annabella’s 1st birthday

I really, really love my job! Not only did I get to be there as this little girl arrived in America, met her daddy and brothers for the first time at the airport, but I got to see her (and her mom & dad who I really adore) again for a 1st birthday shoot. She’s settling in beautifully and is so gorgeous and sweet and just so interested in everything! We played and I even got to hear a few little giggles. So sweet!!

    Is she not totally perfect?!

Jennifer said that when people see her and Ed with Annabella and without the boys, they think that she’s their first baby. They do have that glow of new parenthood though, so you could see why people think that. Jennifer, how much do I love you with the pearls and the Chuck’s?!The hat and the headbands never lasted long, but I worked fast and got my shots before she was able to rip them off!Love me some scrunchy noses.Giggles. Looks like the first picture, but a slightly different expression. She’s just SO gorgeous, I couldn’t leave one picture out! Lets do another shoot soon, ok? I can’t hardly wait until the next one!!!

    bridget’s super surprise sweet 16

Bridget’s mom called me just a few days before her party to ask if I would come and photograph her special evening. She explained to me that it started as just a small dinner with friends to celebrate her birthday, but somehow along the way it morphed into a super surprise sweet 16 complete with a red carpet theme with monogramed backdrop, taylor swift, a dj, a custom cake and a ton of friends and family. It was definitely quite a party!!

A beautifully done custom cake. All the girls getting ready for the surprise. Surprise!! (oh yeah, she definitely was!!) Thank you for letting me on the red carpet! Hope you enjoy the pictures!!

    kate’s 1st birthday

I was lucky enough to photograph this super fun 1st birthday party for Miss Kate and her family (her aunt is a longtime bsquared client) at the Little Gym in Merrick. A really great time was had by all the big and little guests and I think it’s safe to say that the birthday girl may just have been the happiest 1 year old ever! Every time I took a picture of her, she was nothing but smiles and laughs!!

You should recognize every face in this picture from previous bsquared shoots. A big party for a little girl!Big sister.See what I mean about the smiles and giggles?! Thank you for letting me join in on the fun!
