rachel’s sweet 16 brunch
On a busy day of shooting, I ran by Rachel’s sweet 16 brunch at the firehouse for a few minutes to wish the birthday girl a happy one. Caught a few pictures before I had to run out to get to my day of sessions.
The very pretty birthday girl.

With her boyfriend.
Uncle Joe (aka Malibu Barbie Joe) and the boys. I don’t know why Patrick looks scared.
Rachel and her nana.
Some of her friends.
And the very cool beachy cake.
Rachel’s present is a full on photoshoot, so look for pictures from that. Someday soonish. -
mason’s first birthday party
I’ve been photographing his family for a few years now and was thrilled when they asked me to capture their son’s first birthday party recently. It was quite the shindig with lots of family , little friends and entertainment to help Mason celebrate his big day. I loved the Cookie Monster theme and the birthday boy was as cute as ever!

Some faces in the crowd…

…and the rest of Timmy’s birthday vegetable
It’s a family tradition to have a candle in every meal of the day on your birthday.
In the Carvel on the night of his party:
At breakfast in his Cheerios on his actual birthday:
Picked him up for lunch for a date and he had Subway. With a candle.
And his dinner request was sushi. The waitresses were pretty confused when I asked for a lighter for the candle for the dinner. They thought it should go in dessert. Wrong. Nothing says happy 7th birthday like a yellowtail roll with a candle in it.

the start of Timmy’s birthday vegetable
Timmy celebrated his 7th birthday this week, and we kicked it off with a BounceU party in Oceanside on Saturday morning. (for those of you new to the blog, it’s called a birthday vegetable because when Timmy was little he couldn’t say birthday festival. All the boys birthday’s have always been a week long event, hence the festival/vegetable).
The three amigos.
Crazyboys.
They broke out the gladiator ring and Jayson and Jack went head to head. It did not end well for Jack.
Timmy and Jack N. best of friends and fierce competitors.
Patrick vs. Brendan (Patrick in Giants jersey, Brendan in Patriots. Kinda went the same way the superbowl did.) And twin vs. twin on the right. Jack kept getting knocked down so after the 2nd time he decided that everytime he fell he’d just take Patrick down with him.

Inseperable. They were no more than a foot apart the whole party.
Checkin out the loot.

BounceU puts on a great party. Timmy had a great time with all his friends (we went boys only this year). And somehow I didn’t get a single picture of TimTom (Timmy and his cousin Tommy) together even though they were at the party together, they came over the house after the party and we all went out to dinner together. Sometimes I’m just off my game. Back tomorrow with more of the birthday vegetable.

miranda’s sweet 16
Right before Christmas I headed over to Westbury Manor to photograph the lovely Miranda’s Sweet 16 party. I loved her gorgeous gold gown and how it totally coordinated with all the jewel tones they had the venue decked out in. I was only there for about 2hrs, but it looked like a rockin party with all the kids up dancing and having a great time. And although it was ffffffreezing outside, the family opted for some photos outside on the grounds. To me at least, it was definitely worth it!
Hope the rest of your birthday was wonderful Miranda! And may all your wishes come true.
