I was so glad to photograph this crew at their summer home away from home in Westhampton Beach at the Swordfish Beach Club again. That place is soooo me- the colors are perfect! A Tiffany blue beach club? Cmon. Also, the subjects were pretty awesome and I’m so happy I got a little visit in before they went home. Hopefully see you guys again next year!

the ross family
This was a kinda combo session- a bit of a senior session for Katie and a family session for all. Their son came in for the weekend from out of state just for the session so we were all praying for no rain (if you’re around the area, you know this has been the summer of rain every weekend) and we lucked out. It was hot like crazy and humid as anything the night of our shoot but at least it didn’t rain. Katie is already settled in at school as of this week so I’m hoping the family pictures and the senior ones are a nice treat for mom & dad!

My first time photographing these cuter than cuties. Their mom won a bsquared giftcard at a local mom’s brunch so after some planning, we decided on a beach session for the kids. They were both beyond adorable and fun and so photogenic. And they had a wonderful bond between them which I think you can see in the photos. The little guy is turning the big oh-one so we had to commemorate the occasion too.

My second year photographing this awesome, fun and funny (who totally get my sense of humor) family from PA who were in town on vacation for a bit. We headed down the block to the beach and had a great session (well, great for me at least. the kids probably not so much.) Can’t wait to see them and photograph them again next year- I hope!

Finally, finally getting back to posting all of the sessions I didn’t in 2017. And trying to remember what it was like to be not freezing and snowy. I’ve been photographing this family for many years, but this was my first trip out to their summer house out east. It was such a great day and so worth the trip! Driving out with the top down on the convertible, and then shooting this model-y family on the beach? Come on, even their dog is photogenic! Can it please be summer now!?
