the joha family
You might remember this little cute man from two previous posts- his Aunt Kristen & Uncle Raul’s wedding, and from the blog header as just a little guy. We hit the beach (after rescheduling due to rain) on a very cloudy, overcast evening and got our session in just in time before the rain hit. Phew.

Love this whole series.

My favorite from the whole session is the one on the right. He’s like yeah, see ya.
Surf’s up.

It’s always fun (and full of pressure) to photograph my good friends and their kids. We lucked out and had gorgeous light at the beach with a thin filter of clouds over the sun. Other than the wind, it was perfection!

keeping summer alive…
Even though with the cold temps over the last few days it’s definitely not summer anymore. Obviously I’m pretty far behind in editing…

Timmy’s pal Liam.

Liam’s mom and little sister.

Is it bad I’m counting down the days until the end of the school year? -

My second time photographing these guys- such a fun and busy family! It was a gorgeous night at the beach and we had a great time running around and playing. Oh, and taking pictures too! At the end of our session, I left them in the ocean jumping some waves. I think that was a pretty good ending, especially for their oldest son who was thoroughly enjoying himself!

Love the light in these.
They had big squishy hugs like these in our last session too!

the cast family
I’ve lost count how many times I’ve photographed this bunch- but each time is fantastic and leaves me waiting impatiently for next year! (I think this may have been our 4th session). It’s always at their beach house/on the beach and I always get hugs from all the kids as soon as I walk in. Best ever. And, this year Dad even changed a work trip just to be there for the photos. Can you tell I love them a little!?
Super windy on the beach on this evening with big waves from the hurricane passing by.
Don’t know how it’s possible but they get more gorgeous every year.
