I love shoots at the beach (have had a zillion recently and a bunch more coming up), especially those at my beach (sun & surf) where I can just roll out of my chair, grab my gear and get back down to the sand to shoot. Now that’s a commute I can deal with!
We had a great evening for our session but there was a seaweed carpet on the beach. Looks good in the pictures with the pop of green, but not so much in real life when you’d like to go swimming. We stayed out of the water and worked fast as the sun was setting quickly.

What a beauty, right? And she’s a Harvard student. And a dancer. Nothing like having the whole package.
Love the whole rat pack vibe going on.
Sweet sisters.

A new to bsquared family, but I’ve “known” mom in passing for quite a few years. Friends of friends and kids in the same school. So glad we really met as they are all super nice and smiley and fun! Their oldest son was off to his freshman year of college a little bit after our session, so I’m hoping mom enjoys the pictures of her whole family together!

Extra big props to this great young man who’s birthday it was on the day of our session. I’m quite sure there were a number of other things he would have rather been doing than taking pictures (maybe sticking needles in his eyes) but he was a true gentleman and really hung in there for the whole time.

These girls are Gorgeous with a capital G!!
They are Irish step dancers. I got a little show!

We had a gorgeous night in Pt. Lookout (this time the private town beach) for a session for this fantastic family. I ended up bringing Timmy along to “help” (no one was around to watch him so he came along). Timmy was actually a really big help being a dog wrangler and getting everyone to laugh. The light was changing so fast during our session which gave us some really pretty skies.

After having to reschedule last year’s session we finally got our shoot in on a lovely evening at the beach with two very blondie boys. Pt. Lookout beach didn’t disappoint and we got a great session in at sunset.

They really do love each other!

There’s always room for jumping.
Something about this last one I just love.

A new to bsquared family who found me thru mom’s cousin Val who’s family I photographed and went to high school with. Following along? They brought tons of personality and loads of fun to our session and I was so happy to photograph them all! Total picture overload below- there were so many great ones, it was hard to choose.
See what I mean about bringing their personalities!?
She’s the middle child, so I thought it would be nice for her to go first.

Dad is the former “cabana bill” from Sun and Surf. He worked there for quite a while and we overlapped by about a year or so but I don’t think we ever met. It was nice to actually meet- they are the nicest family!!

In the spirit of the Olympics…
Couldn’t decide between black & white and color. So I’m posting them both.

Love the wild beach hair, the colors at sunset and happy children! Thanks for a great session with lots of fun!
