diane & henry- first look
I had the pleasure of photographing Diane & Henry’s wedding a few weeks ago and it was a wonderful, happy day filled with love and joy and everything you’d want a wedding day to be filled with. It’s the second marriage for both and their reunion was a long time coming. They’ve known eachother for 26 years or so and were both married to other people. Circumstances changed for both of them and when they friended eachother on Facebook, they were both single and their online reunion turned into…well, a marriage! Love stories like that!
A few first looks at the Church too (although these shots could go in the ceremony post, it is sorta a first look too- a first look of the chapel before guests arrive.) Taken by my fabulous second shooter Kate.
Another 2 shots from Kate. I adore working with her. We have a great time and balance it out really well.
We set Henry up with his back to Diane for the big moment. He kept trying to turn around too early, but we did pull it off.

I tried to get Bethanne to give her mom a kiss. The request was followed by lots of laughing and finally a kiss. Bethanne made a beautiful maid of honor.
Henry’s son Adam was a very handsome (and funny!) best man. Fantastic wedding party!

Such a gorgeous bride!!
And handsome groom!
My other favorite from the first look. Could they be any happier?!
More pictures on the way from the wedding soon. Stay tuned. -
mary-kate & tom- the reception
The last batch of photos from Mary-Kate & Tom’s fabulous wedding. The reception was a ton of fun and the amazing 12 piece band had everyone up and dancing all night long!
First, immediately following the ceremony, we did some additional portraits and family shots.

Making their grand entrance into the reception.
First dance.

Speeches from the matron of honor/sister of the bride and best man/father of the groom were fantastic.

The super cool groom’s cake Mary-Kate surprised Tom with.

Hope all of you enjoyed the wedding (guests, bride & groom and blog stalkers alike!)

mary-kate & tom- the ceremony
It was lovely from start to finish. Sorry, really going short on the narrative today (it’s 1:15am when I’m writing this and have to get up early for some shoots tomorrow) and I know you really just want to see the pictures anyway!
Big thanks to Kate for second shooting with me- and getting these awesome shots of the bride and her dad on their way down the aisle.

Mary-Kate’s brother sang for them. Not a dry eye in the house!!

Stay tuned for the last installment of the wedding (the reception) coming soon! -
mary-kate & tom {first look & portraits}
I was so happy that M-K & Tom opted for a first look (when the bride and groom see eachother before the ceremony). We were able to get some fantastic shots of them and their wedding party before the chaos of the rest of the evening rolled in. It was great seeing the look in their eyes when they saw eachother. So sweet.

I loooove this shot that Kate captured.

Kate hard at work. Sometimes we double as boutineer repinners.
I guess I’m really happy when the pictures go the way I want them to!
Here’s the actual first look.

mary-kate & tom {getting ready}
I was so happy to help MK and Tom celebrate their wedding day earlier this month. I’ve photographed MK’s sister and her family and photographed her best friend Trisha at her wedding last year, so I was pretty thrilled when MK asked me to photograph her wedding to Tom. Their wedding was quite the fun event and everyone was so happy to be there- it was evident the whole night. My photografriend Kate second shot with me for the day and she was such a pleasure to work with!
I was at the hotel with MK and her girls, Kate went to Tom’s house to get some shots of him with his best man. Who also happened to be his dad!
Beautiful, glowy bride.
Handsome and debonair groom.

The roses Tom sent MK.
A gift from the bride.

The pastor’s expression in this shot cracked me up. He wasn’t sure how he ended up with the bouquet…
Within the next week or two, lots more of MK and Tom’s wedding will be on the blog. Keep a lookout!!
