devin & cameron’s first communion
My good photografriend Amandarelli recommended these lovely people to me, as their regular photographer wasn’t available for their day so I got lucky enough to step in. What an amazingly nice group of people! Easy going and fun (right up my alley!) and we ended up with a beautiful day for some pictures outside. The cousin communicants were the sweetest, cutest boys and I extra loved their donut wall (especially the tiffany blue chocolate one which I got to take home as a party favor).

the gilr family
When you get the call that there are 17 people in the family from the ages of 4 to 74, as a photographer you tend to freak out a little. But then meeting them again (after 7 years since the last time i photographed them. you can see that shoot here: http://www.bsquaredphotography.net/?p=14827 ) i was very quick to realize /remember just how awesome they all are. Everyone in the whole family is just so nice, funny, happy and cooperative. It was a breeze and so fun for me to shoot! I do have to give a special shout out to the grandparents for creating such an amazing bunch of people, and all the parents for their beautifully behaved, polite, great kids! I hope its not another 7 years until i see them again! And the puppy!!!! omg the puuuuppppy.

henry’s 70th birthday
What a great milestone to celebrate! So glad I was able to be there to take a few pictures of the whole extended family (some of whom were in from far away) and of course my BFF Jen and her family too! I’m sure you’ll recognize two of the girls and their husbands as previous bsquared brides & grooms. I love seeing the family grow!

the bos family
A brand new to bsquared family (referred by a photografriend) with lots and lots of little grandchildren visiting from around the country. They were also celebrating dad/grandpa’s retirement so it was a two-fold happy occassion. The kids were happy to be done with the session and get right into the pool. Wish I could’ve joined them!

the colomb family
One of my longtime and favorite families, but this time it was the extended family too! I was so happy to meet more of their crew- they’re all so amazingly nice and fun! Dad (not Grandpa) took a lot of abuse during the shoot as per the usual (thanks Nick! You know I love you!!) but he just makes it too easy and fun! The main purpose for this session was celebrating Grandpa’s (Papou’s) 90th!!!!!! birthday while everyone was finally together. Can you even believe this man is 90?! He absolutely doesn’t look it, or act it. I think he was very happy to have all his grand babies surrounding him to celebrate and they just love him so much!
