We had a gorgeous night in Pt. Lookout (this time the private town beach) for a session for this fantastic family. I ended up bringing Timmy along to “help” (no one was around to watch him so he came along). Timmy was actually a really big help being a dog wrangler and getting everyone to laugh. The light was changing so fast during our session which gave us some really pretty skies.

After having to reschedule last year’s session we finally got our shoot in on a lovely evening at the beach with two very blondie boys. Pt. Lookout beach didn’t disappoint and we got a great session in at sunset.

They really do love each other!

There’s always room for jumping.
Something about this last one I just love.

Although we missed last year, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this family a few times. Watching them grow is always a pleasure and they’re always so fun to be around! This year was certainly no exception.
You can see some previous sessions here and here. Same smiles, just smaller faces back then!

Love this shot of the twins. I think it really describes their personalities!
I have a soft spot for the only boy in the family. How could you not?

I was so happy to hear they all play their own sports. Not so fun for mom driving carpool I’m sure, but made for a great photo!

Just a quick glimpse into what I’ve been up to for the last two days. Am editing on my laptop which I never, ever do so pretty sure the color and exposure are both a little (or a lot) wonky. I’ll be reediting everything on the BIG computer once I’m home tonight.
Amazing location, amazing models, amazing styling, amazing teaching- thank you Zoe!!

Another summer, another trip up to see a favorite family in Rhode Island. The drive isn’t my favorite thing ever, but treated myself to a nice late lunch of a lobster roll (delish!) and got to have dinner with my college roommate and bestie Robin on the way home. And got to visit with and photograph this amazing family in between. So it’s all good!
You can see some of their previous sessions here, here and here.
Just need to mention that I loved, loved, LOVED their colorful clothing. Gave the pictures great pop.
When the oldest guy actually asked me to take his picture, I was thrilled! He’s just like his dad and just barely tolerates me for the one hour a year.

The drink in dad’s hand is mandatory for all of our yearly sessions.
Really? Could just die of this face?!
Such pretty girls!

Grandma came by to visit for a bit. I think everyone was unprepared for the cold water!
Their babysitter P even got in on the action. The kids just love her and it’s so easy to see why.
Yes, this is really Rhode Island. Looks like the caribbean right?
Already looking forward to next year’s session!!
