    isabella’s communion

This is one of “those” families. One that I can’t wait to photograph again! Gorgeous, sweet kids and wonderful parents who are all super photogenic. Isabella was a beautiful communicant.  A little picture overload below- I just couldn’t narrow down the pictures for the blog any further!!

Big sister gets her own shots, too.
Couldn’t you eat him up?!Seriously?!I told them to “smoosh your faces together”, and this is what I got. I think I need to improve my communication skills.

    the turn communion

A brand new to bsquared family who I had the pleasure of photographing on their son’s First Communion day. Such a handsome young man!

A little love from mom.And from dad, too. Brother & sister.
It took me a while to get a smile out of him, but he gave me one reeeeeally quick one. Glad I caught it!The best behaved dog. Trying something a little dramatic with the lighting on the left. Hope you had a wonderful communion and a great party! I’m definitely in the thick of communion season now so be on the lookout for a bunch more coming to the blog soon.

    framing friday

A catchy new title for fridays so I can show you some more of our fabulous clients frames!

Danielle chose a Lewis in retro teal and parchment for her twins room.

And a Lucy in black for her living room. And a smaller Lucy in black as a gift for her dad. Laura chose a Jessie frame in dragon fruit for her daughter’s room. We moved the two pictures that were above the rocking chair to the opposite wall above the crib. They look great on either side of Lila’s name!A window frame for Mary Beth from her fall session.

Happy Friday to all of you. I’m back next week with lots of great sessions. And I’m picking up my new car today, too!!

    introducing….baby robbie

My friend K and her family welcomed their 3rd child recently, and I was lucky enough to photograph him in his almost 10 pound glory!! He was born at 9lbs, 3oz and was weighing in at just shy of 10lbs a few days before our session. I’ve never met a more mellow baby (both awake and asleep) and had so much fun photographing him and his family!

Gorgeous family!!I tried and tried every day at pick up from school to convince K to let me photograph the birth, but no luck! I think when he arrived weighing what he did, she was even more happy she didn’t let me in there!Do you not love his little hands in this one?Smiles when he heard mommy’s voice. After a bottle, he was fast asleep. I felt so terrible moving him off the very comfy beanbag when we were done (so much so I gave him an extra 15 min on there!)Perfect bow lips. At the end of our session, K tells me her uncle is a photographer. Not just a photographer, but a world famous one. Ummmm….no pressure or anything for me. Glad she told me at the end of the session! Congrats to all of you on Robbie- he’s perfect!!

    a visit from michigan

Jack & Patrick’s BFF and family were here from Michigan over Easter and we had a great visit with them. It’s always fantastic to see them and I love hanging out with Maureen (like the old days) and my one and only goddaughter Katie.

The whole gang (minus Timmy who didn’t want to come outside).

We took a walk over to their old house. As you can see, the boys were thrilled with taking pictures there. We visited Beth too. Maureen lived across the street once upon a time.Poor Finster being edged out. Like the old days when the boys would edge him out at the Thomas table.
Tough guys.Stephen (Beth’s son). Timmy & Katie did a lot of building together. And Katie was most gracious letting Timmy beat her at the Wii. My gorgeous goddaughter. We went shopping, out for sushi and ice cream. So fun!!Going back in time a little bit- this was taken right before they moved away. Omg, they were so cute. And so little.

And this was taken right before they got in the car for the drive back to Michigan. (for those of you who are following along at home, my boys are on opposite sides in the below picture from the above picture. Below Jack left, Patrick right.)So glad we’re all still friends. Miss you guys!!
