    robin & her littles

Came by last week for a visit. It was the kids’ first time at our house and after a bit of settling in, they seemed to like it here just fine. Especially after the boys all came home from school and they were fully entertained!

I cannot believe Robin has 3 under 3 years old. Eoin will be 3 in a few months and is doing so wonderfully. He truly is the miracle baby. Evelyn & Elizabeth are now 6 months old and growing so fast. And teething a bunch too. But very happy babies and pretty identical!!

Elizabeth (I think).Evelyn. The best shot I could manage of all 3. Robin and her total day to day chaos. Twins and twins. I always KNEW Robin would have twins. And Eoin. Laughing at the big boys. Took all the pictures in my new office. Great light in there and the couch is just the right size for small people.

    the newm family

In a beautiful home in an amazing town on the north shore of Long Island, lives a lovely little family with a little girl who had just finished celebrating her one year old birthday. That I got to photograph! (and by the way, I have lived on LI almost my entire life and have never heard of this town before. I gotta get out more.) Miss L was a bundle of energy, I don’t think she ever stopped moving during our entire time together. With a lot of chasing, refocusing the camera and mom & dad running interference we managed to get a few shots of her anyway!

    the ilbe family

After a referral from a great photografriend, I got to meet and photograph this fantastic family including their newest addition, baby Max. They were so wonderful letting me into their home with open arms and open hearts. They were fun, kind and just a pleasure to be around and to photograph.

This was my very first shoot for 2012 and it was a great way to start off a new year! I came back from vacation all ready and excited to shoot again after a long (but great) holiday season.

As it turns out, poor baby Max had to have emergency hernia surgery less than a week after our session. He’s doing okay now, recovering at home with some pain and discomfort according to mom. He really likes being held and if the pictures above are any indication, he’ll be better in no time flat! So nice meeting all of you! Looking forward to our next session already!

    winter mini sessions

If you received the bsquared newsletter yesterday (and if you didn’t you should sign up right now on the left side of the blog) you’ve read that the winter mini sessions are available for booking in February and March. Normally, mini sessions are only offered on specific days in September, October and November at a bsquared chosen location. For the winter mini sessions, the place is up to you and so is the day & the location. We can get some great stuff in your home and weather permitting, can still get outside for a few shots as well (running back inside to warm up). Please see the above links for the be mini pricing and the bsquared calendar and email me at bethbeyrer@yahoo.com (or thru the contact link above) to set up your winter mini session.

And because a post is too boring without a picture or two, here are some from last year’s winter mini’s.

    the murp family

This was a really extra special session for me, and I hope it was for the family as well. Dad is a Marine on active duty in Afghanistan and was home for 2 weeks for R&R and I was lucky enough to do a session for them right before I left for vacation. His schedule was up in the air until the last minute so we really lucked out that the day we did the session we had decent (but a little chilly) weather and that our schedules coordinated after much planning. It was so great seeing them all so happy to be together! Dad’s already back in Afghanistan so I’m hoping the pictures help ease the separation a little until he’s home again.
