adam’s graduation
Known this guy since he turned one. Seventeen years later, this is what happens…
Yeah, I still can’t believe it either. Everyone (including Aunt Beth) is so proud of you Adam! Can’t wait to hear all about your amazing adventures in South America this coming year.Adam will be going to Peru, Costa Rica and Uruguay with the WAVES program, where he will be doing all kinds of amazing things. Working with families (especially children) at the poverty level, teaching english, teaching surfing, coordinating activities, & working with the kids there on environmentally friendly projects. And my personal favorite: working with endangered sea turtles (rehabilitation, rescues, and community/tourist education). He’ll be away on this adventure from October- February. Can’t wait to see pictures!!!
The whole family. Who I love.
Geez, handsome much?
Heidi’s side of the family…
…and Joe’s side of the family.
These two are so close, I think I’m going to have to do a lot of distracting to help Heidi make it thru Adam’s leaving.

My pretty girls. Ok, Rachel? Did I do alright??

And a few goofy shots. Aunt Heidi torturing the boys. This is what usually happens when they are together.
Patrick is Joe’s godson. Soon after this was taken, he picked Patrick up and threw him in the pond (well, not in exactly. Just hung him upside down over it for a while).
These two have a real love/hate relationship. He loves her, she hates (ok, barely tolerates) him. But she thought she looked really good in the last picture I took of them together, so now she always wants one with Johnny B.
His other mother.
Delicious curls I couldn’t pass up.
Beauties.
Don’t know if its his expression, or the angle or what, but I see the little Adam in this one.
Awww….they’re all gonna miss him.
A lot!
Love you guys!Adam’s prom pictures coming soon, stay tuned for those.

the kell family
The last time I photographed these lovelies, there were only 2 of them and they were really little. Now there are 3 and if it’s possible, they got even more gorgeous! It was so nice to meet the new baby too. What a doll!
So many good pictures from this session, I had a really hard time narrowing it down so there are quite a few. Enjoy!

This one’s full of expressions, one better than the next!
Cuteness!!

A little slice of life…
She was making the fish face and I thought she was going to implode!!
That is one good dog.

Love this one, sun spots and all. It just screams summer.

She was happy once she found her thumb.
Hope you all have a great weekend. I have a few last minute openings for shoots this Sunday at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. Any takers? -
introducing…jack cooper
My very good friends Sharon & Dave welcomed their third (via C-section, so I couldn’t photograph the birth no matter how much I wanted to!) baby on Friday afternoon. And although I couldn’t get into the OR for pictures, I did get to see, hold and photograph Jack in the hospital about 8hrs after he was born. He’s weighing in at 7lbs, 2oz (but is pretty solid so he feels much heavier when you hold him) and has a full head of hair with lots of blonde highlights. He’s soooo cute and was wide awake the whole time I was in the hospital visiting but not even one little cry. According to Sharon he was awake like that and no crying for about 3 hrs. In a row!! I’m hoping he’ll be her low maintenence baby!
I’ll be back to take more pictures of Jack (the real newborn shoot with nice natural light, not crappy hospital bed lighting) in about 2 weeks, so be on the lookout for those. I saw Olivia & Gavin along with their grandparents in the lobby on my way in and their way out. They (well, Olivia & her grandparents) were SO excited and Olivia is totally smitten with her new baby brother.
That’s some kind of eye contact from an 8 hour old baby!!!

How great does Sharon look?

First family photo. Congrats to all of you!! Love you guys! xo

alexis’s bat mitzvah
I had the best time photographing the lovely Alexis and her family on her special day. Loved the whole Broadway/Red carpet theme, the DJ (DJ Jeff Yahney) was awesome and kept the party totally hopping the whole afternoon. I think everyone there had a great time. Mazel Tov, Alexis! You are a doll!!
Nothing like a little lens flare to start the day.
There are no pictures allowed in the Synagogue so I just grabbed a few quick ones before any of the guests arrived.

The party was at Lawrence Country Club and was really fantastic.

A little of the candle lighting ceremony.

Can you see the fake and fun Hasidic Jews in the background?

These ‘dance head’ videos were so much fun!
The kid in the pink hat was the life of the party and can dance like no one’s business! I’m totally hiring him for my next party!

Thanks for letting me capture your day, Alexis! -
joseph’s graduation
One of my favorite bsquared clients with the best smiles around graduated from St. Agnes (8th grade) earlier this month. I was so happy I was there to capture his day for his family. There are some familiar faces in the crowd, too.
I think he looks pretty proud of himself, as well he should. Off to Chaminade next year!

My across the street neighbor and a previous bsquared client.
The twins I photographed a few weeks ago.
Getting their last minute instructions.

With a very proud mom and dad. (this was my first time meeting dad, which is pretty funny considering I’ve known mom for about 9 years!)

Receiving his diploma from Father Bill.

Neighbor and one twin receiving theirs, too.
The whole family.
Joseph’s always all about the ladies.
It only took 2 times to get these shots. Love these- my favorites.
Congrats to you Joseph and good luck next year! I know you’ll do great- you’re just that kinda guy!!!
