the roge family
I met this family thru many past and present bsquared clients and I was so happy I did. They were wonderful and happy and just so ‘together’- it was my pleasure to photograph them (on what had to be the windiest beach shoot. Ever.) But they were all troopers and braved the winds and whipping sands to get great shots. It was my first time at Lawrence Beach Club which was so beautiful.
Adore the interaction here.
Omg, cute much?

She looks like a fairy princess, right?

Ok, so I know I’m like a day plus a half a day late in a new post, but I’ve been so busy editing and with other bsquared business related projects, blogging kinda fell off to the side for a bit. I’m back though with a fantastic beach shoot with a great family who I love working with.
It was worth the wait, dontcha think?
They were my first family to photograph after my “vacation” during August and the kids were sooooo good to me- making my first shoot back lovely and fun. And easy!!
Finally figured out what jokes to tell to get this one to smile for real.
A true beauty. I mean, really. Can’t get enough of photographing this one.
He’s grown up so much and I love him telling me he’s ONE (after he told me he’s 5 a few times though)

Thanks for a great first shoot back to work. Hope you love your pictures! (Oh, and can’t wait to see what our location is for next year!) -
the zimm family
So, even though there really wasn’t supposed to be, there was SO much pressure going into this shoot. Why? Because the beautiful and talented Shira is a professional photographer herself. We decided to trade shoots (we haven’t done mine yet- still working on that!) and I went and took pictures of her fantastic little family.
Love the angle and the interaction here.

Someone’s a little jealous…
Can you see their matching dimples? So cute!!

Shira, you are beautiful!!
Really, really, really hope you like the pictures Shira and family. Sorta freaking out here! -
the sulv family
Sorry for the late in the day posting today, doing my best to catch up on everything (but I think that’s probably a lost cause!)
Had a wonderful shoot for the equally wonderful “sulv” family. They are really so fantastic and fun and just happy to be together– and I hope I was able to capture that in my pictures.
Mom and I have recently become friends, although she is one of those people that I should have been friends with for a long time. We have lived pretty much parallel lives since grade school with friends in common, we had just never met. Until now. And I’m so glad we did!! Dad is undergoing treatment for colorectal cancer and has been for a while- you may remember the blog post that I did on the blood drive they were having to benefit Rob. You could never tell, right?! He (and all of them) have the BEST attitude I’ve ever been privliged to experience and I always feel lucky spending time with them, hoping some of that optimism and bravery rubs off!!
Three gorgeous blondies.
See what I mean about the laughing?
The classic bsquared walking away down the beach picture, with the sulv family twist. Love them!!

Love all the squishy togetherness!!
Beauty.

Magical.
Thanks for a wonderful time!! See you at the beach, pool, and of course on FB!! -
the emur family
A friend from high school who now lives far, far away was in town for a few days and we squished in a session for her and her kids. You may recognize them from last year’s shoot, and the young man is also featured on my blog header. Their grandmother is the owner of Garden Gate and had the yard landscaped beautifully- made for easy shooting!
Well, that and the gorgeous kids!

Thinking ahead for Christmas.
Liz, you look beautiful!

And in an homage to last year’s shoot with the beach shower, we turned the hose on the kids. They didn’t seem too upset about it.
Next year, we have to fit dinner in there somewhere too! Hope you enjoy your pictures!!
