What do you get when mom is Irish, and Dad is from El Salvador? Drop dead gorgeous kids! This is apparently a really good combination of nationalities and genes!

Not to mention mom’s fabulous sense of style for her little girl. I about dropped my camera when I saw the outfit- I was that excited!!

The oldest boy was a complete chatter box and a sweet thing who was so good and worked the shoot hard! The phone is going to be ringing off the hook for this one in a few years!

The littlest boy really was NOT having it. Any of it. At all. He just eyed me warily the whole shoot (well, when he wasn’t crying), but I did manage to get a few tiny smiles out of him- mostly when mom was holding him.

Loved the fun props they brought along- especially the flags. What a great way to have the whole heritage represented.

Thanks for a great shoot and for keeping cool even when things weren’t going exactly as planned. Hope you enjoy your pictures!

Was so excited to do this shoot for this awesome family of (now) 4 boys! They were as well behaved as I remembered and just as gorgeous too. And the new baby was de.lic.ious. Seriously. Ok, so he’s not so new, but he’s still new to me.

The oldest was celebrating his first communion a few days after our shoot so we took a few special ones for him in his communion outfit before making the change into ‘regular’ clothes for the rest of the shoot. (And I was constantly checking to make sure those white pants were still white every 5 seconds!)

Some shots of each of the other 3 boys.

And the whole family. (there are a bunch of ones without the baby doing peek-a-boo, but it was too cute not to post on the blog).

Mom wanted to be sure we got lots of pictures of the baby this session since there aren’t any of him from our last shoot (for obvious reasons. Like not being born yet.).

And the infamous ‘walkingawayholdinghands’ shot. Love.

Thanks to all of you for another fantastic session. I love taking pictures for you and hope you love seeing them just as much! I do have to mention how funny I found the picture below while editing. I swear it looks like the baby has his arm around ‘someone’ too! Hmmmm….maybe it’s time for #5? Just sayin.

This adorable, photogenic bunch was gifted with a bsquared shoot a while back. We had a session scheduled back in the fall that we rescheduled due to rain to the spring (when the baby was bigger). I’m so happy with how it worked out with the nice, sunny and warm day that we definitely wouldn’t have had in the late fall.

The gift card was from mom’s sisters, all 3 of whom I have photographed in the past. Loved getting to meet the last sister from the family who’s company I thoroughly enjoyed! One of her sisters was the woman I had asked for prayers here on the blog not too long ago. And I’m so happy to report that she continues to do really well in her recovery!

The kids couldn’t have been more gorgeous, nor the house more ‘pottery barn’, especially the kids rooms.

Had to get the other family member (who had the cutest little smushed up face with a swivel head everytime someone talked to him).

Thanks to all of you for a fantastic afternoon. (and all the chitchat afterwards!) Hope you enjoy your pictures. And hi to all the sisters!!!

the sewa communion
Although we were battling the winds and the dreaded overhead 1pm sun, I had a great time meeting this new to bsquared photography family and capturing their oldest daughters first communion. Actually, her communion is the weekend I’ll be away shooting the destination wedding in Jamaica so doing it now worked out great for all of us!

Isn’t she lovely?

The girls were so cute and giggly together, even sharing a coat in between pictures. They seemed to really get along great which is always a pleasure to see.

Such a cute family! Mom wanted greenery so I got as much of it as I could.

A pleasure meeting all of you. Hope you like the pictures and I hope your ‘real’ communion day is wonderful!!

Mom is the school psychologist in the boys school and when she told me she was expecting twins, I was so excited!!! We have become friendly over the 6 years the boys have been there and she’s always been so good to all of us. I was thrilled to be able to capture some images of this very exciting (exhausting, busy, chaotic, thrilling) time for her and her family.

And did I mention she only found out she was having twins at her 19 week appointment? Surprise!

Miss E.

Mister P.

The babies were so super deliciously cute (and big for twins- you go mom!!) and their big sister was absolutely adorable. I was a little worried going in that I wouldn’t be able to capture much from her being not even two years old, but I was so wrong. What a cutie pie!

Thanks for the morning of babies (big and small)! Hope you enjoy your pictures!!
