the coll family
This family was so filled with fabulousness. Between the outfits, the kids, and the parents, it was a great session. (Didn’t think I’d say that, did you L?) We had some bumps in the road with the boys but you could never really tell by the pictures. And really, what else matters?

Their daughter is definitely an ‘old soul’ and reminded me so much of my Jack. With the way above her years vocabulary (used completely correctly I might add) and awesome insights pouring out of her at every turn. She was a great help during the whole shoot.

The middle boy was quite a pip and was really only interested in playing in the sand. Can you blame him? I mean it is the beach afterall.

And the little one was so cute and funny. Every time I asked Mom and Dad to do something silly to make him laugh and Dad would put Mom up on his shoulders (told you they were awesome), the baby would scream and cry! Got some anyway, so HA! It’s the best getting a good picture of a challenging subject. (and by the way, good height daddy!)

Love these of Mom. I think every mom should have some fabulous shots of just herself. Cause really, when does that ever happen?

And more family shots…

Thanks so much for everything, Coll family. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed meeting you. To view all of the pictures from this session, please click HERE.

the gatt family
Before the rain took up permanent residence here in NY, I had a shoot with the gatt family down at the beach. After a day of beautiful, warm weather it suddenly turned much cooler and very windy which wasn’t the optimal shoot weather for a little boy. But he was a trooper and really stuck it out and we managed to get some great shots of him and his parents. Just couldn’t go all the way down to the water- way too cold.

So glad I caught this face. I know it’s one of mom’s favorites.

Aren’t they just a comfy, lovely little family?

Some mommy love. Love the soft colors.

Had a wonderful time meeting you all. If you’d like to see all of the images from this shoot, please click HERE.

the baku communion
Another lovely young lady who’s communion I was lucky enough to document. Miss S was actually my very last communion for 2009 and I have to say it might have been my favorite communion season yet. You can see why, right?

You may have seen a few pictures of her in some of my other communion posts this year as her friends and cousin all made their communion on the same day. And although this day was not her actual communion, we got some great ‘redux’ shots for her family.

She rides horses competatively and those are some of her ribbons. Loved the light and color in her pretty pink room.

Brother and sister. Mom and Dad promised they would be in the next shoot’s pictures. I’m holding you to it, D.

And a last one with some different processing.

Hope you enjoy all the pictures. Click HERE to see all of the images from the shoot.

the gera family
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting this mom a few times over the last 2 or so years as she is really good friends with my friend Sharon. I was so happy when she called and asked to set up an appointment for pictures of her baby girl and family.
And I was even happier when I laid eyes on the beautiful, smiley, baby chunk I was getting to take tons of pictures of!

Seriously? Her rolls had rolls. Delicious.

Mom and Dad were dressed and ready for a few shots of their own too. Dad is from across the pond and I actually recognized his accent- he’s from Liverpool, just like our Coach Graeme. I’m usually really bad at stuff like that so I was pretty excited that I placed it. They couldn’t love their baby anymore than they do.

I just kept snapping away. Would’ve stayed the whole day if it wasn’t nap time. She just wouldn’t stop smiling and giving me the best shots.

This one reminds me of the easter bunny.

And one last favorite to leave you with…

You know you could just EAT. HER. UP. To see more images from this session, please click HERE.

the mark communion
This family has been waiting so patiently for their pictures and I’m happy to finally be able to post them. I hope you think it was worth the wait!

Miss K was so lovely and a total trooper for all the pictures. Especially after her party guests began to arrive and all she wanted to do was go see them. But she stuck it out so well and was a sweetheart the whole time.

There’s just something beyond her years in the way she carries herself. Like and old soul.

The grounds of the restaurant/club were so pretty and perfect for photos.

Aren’t the three girls just gorgeous? And Mom & Dad too! Really, the whole family is just way too good looking. Made my job so easy.

Godmother and grandparents.

And you might recognize her very best friend from her communion a few weeks back.

Thanks again for your patience. It was a pleasure through and through. To see the rest of the pictures from this session, please click HERE.
