the rhod family
I met this family while shooting a surprise party back in the beginning of the year. We booked a maternity session but had to reschedule no less than three times, once because of a last minute invite for them, and twice because of bad weather. I was so happy when our shoot was finally a ‘go’- and before the new baby arrived!

Not only is their son super deliciously cute (love the wild hair) but a total sweetheart. Plus, the shoes.

Aren’t they so cute!!?? And I loved the dog too!

And isn’t mom beautiful and glowy? (and Mariah Careyish from back in the day when she was normal)

I’m so glad we were finally able to get the shoot in and I really hope you like the pictures, rhod family. To view all of the images from this shoot, please click HERE.

the rote family 3.0
For Mother’s Day this year, Dad called me and asked for a bsquared gift certificate for his wife. I’ve done pictures for this family a bunch of times already and always have a great time with them, so I was so happy that Dad called again.
DISCLAIMER: no children or icecream were harmed in the taking of these photos. Just want to put that out there. There may have been serious mess and some tears (ok, a lot of tears) when someone’s icecream fell in the dirt and mom had to rinse it off in the bathroom, but all was fine in the end.

Mom really wanted the shoot to be about the boys, but I managed to get her in a few too.

Great seeing you guys again! Looking forward to our holiday card session in the fall. To view all of the images from this shoot, please click HERE.

the good family
Ok, I’m going to be perfectly honest here. I was feeling pretty sick on the day of this shoot and was heading up to Great Neck for the first of 3 seperate shoots in Great Neck over a 2 day period. All of which = not a great mood. Then, I saw three boys hop out of the car and thought I was going to get my butt kicked cause I would have to be running around after them all over the park feeling so crappy already. I was not looking forward to the whole thing which isn’t really like me.
But then…

The boys were SO good and cooperative and cute.

And the family’s coordinating outfits were so perfect.

And mom and dad were such nice people and fun.

And the nanny was kind and helpful with the smile procurement. And the location was so pretty. So before I realized it, I forgot that I was sick and was having a great time and getting some awesome shots.

Mom is originally from Russia. That’s one of those languages I could listen to all day without understanding a word and still enjoy it thoroughly. Their nanny who has been with them for about 3 years is also Russian so I got a good dose of conversation.

Thank you good family- I had a great time meeting all of you. You were wonderful and I hope you enjoy the pictures. To view all of the images from this shoot, please click HERE.

the nitk family

This is my second time shooting for this cute little family, and I can’t believe how big their baby has gotten since I last saw them at Christmas. She’s gone from falling over while sitting to walking around like crazy. She was definitely easier to photograph at Christmas, but you gotta love the walking stage too. So cute!

Went to the local village green and tried to find a little shade to shoot in. There wasn’t much, but we made do.

A little mommy & daddy love.

And a pretty little bonnett.

A few back at her house in her favorite chair.

Great to see you all again. To see all of the pictures from this session, please click HERE.

the mulv family
Hope everyone had a great weekend! A fun, happy, and colorful family to start off a new week.

The mulv family was gifted with a bsquared shoot by a mutual friend. After a few (really, a lot!) of cancellations & rescheduling due to weather and stomach viruses, we finally got our shoot in on a Friday morning when the kids had a day off from not using a snow day.

Visited a new location in Garden City which I really loved (good call, B). Think I will be suggesting this location to future clients. It’s so pretty.

The kids were great although the littlest ones are always tricky to catch!

And for a reward (and for more good pictures) Mom broke out the huge lollipops. I think we were all pretty happy with them.

Thank you for your patience on the rescheduling. Hope you think it all worked out as well as I do! To see all of the images from this session, please click HERE.
