Lots of pictures in this post, so make sure you are comfy in your seat before starting.

These are our good friends and their oldest daughter is John’s goddaughter. This day I got to share in Miss K’s first communion and she was a total doll as always. This plus the fact that she really LIKES it when Aunt Beth takes her picture (this is opposed to her older sister-the middle one, and her dad who really dislike my camera with me behind it!) just made my day.

Seriously, gorgeous. All of ’em.

A little family & friends love (or actually a lot).

And a little froggy love. Froggy has never been far away from Miss K since she was born. So glad he made an appearance at the party.

First, I have to say thank you so much to the mom of this family. I had 4 communions to shoot this day and she and I juggled her session time a to a bunch of different times. She was SO understanding and cooperative. You are the best, M and I’m so glad it all worked out. Just a fun shot of mom in the car leaving church…

And now onto the star of the day! Isn’t she lovely? And she was so willing to just keep going with the pictures… (my kinda kid!)

Their kids all go to the same school as the boys, and mom is a speech therapist at the same place where Timmy goes for PT/OT. And the dad knows John. Again, small world.

These were fantastically cooperative kids (and adults too). I have the best clients ever!! Grandparents and a godmother even came to take part in some of the photos on this special day.

Even caught one in the church and one outside with some friends.

Thank you again, M and family. I had a great time capturing your special day. To see all of the images from the shoot, please click HERE.

Another rain out communion day, but nothing could dim the lights shining from this little girl. She is stunning. Seriously.

Her little brother and baby sister are also so good looking. You can see where they get it all from.

The family celebrated with a BIG party at Stonebridge Country Club. There were a huge number of guests with a huge amount of love and well wishes for Miss I.

Grandparents were very happy and proud of their little girl. And the dances with Daddy and Grandpa- not a dry eye in the house.

A few more of the gorgeous star of the day. And only during the editing process, did I figure out who she looks like celebrity wise. While Cinderella was a contender, I finally settled on Rachel McAdams in the Notebook. Something in the eyes/smile.

Thanks for going out into the rain and chill with me. A, hope you think I made her look angelic like you requested. To see all of the images from the communion, please click HERE.

the bhar communion
Not a lot of boy communicants so far this season, but here’s one cutie who is all boy and was pretty happy (and a little nervous) to be making his communion last weekend.

The weather wasn’t great…in fact it was pretty bad and only got worse throughout the day. We met up at the church right before his communion mass for some shots and hid under the canopy of some pretty pink flower trees to try to stay dry while we did our thing. It worked pretty well for the most part.

The pictures are pretty deceiving. This is what it was actually like.

The bhar family are members at the same country club that we are and had their party there. I came back to the party for a few quick additional shots of some extended family who couldn’t make it before the church and some more of the family as well.

What’s a party without a really good cake!

Hope you had a wonderful day, Mr. T and family. Thanks for braving the rain with me!!

Communion season is officially in full swing!

Mom and I went to school together from about 4th grade on and recently reconnected on Facebook. I was happy to get to see her again (especially since I haven’t since high school), meet her family, and capture their special day.

The kids were gorgeous and so well-mannered and polite. I think all the kids had a great time at the party with all the gaming stations that were set up for them (ah, yeah. Best idea EVER!) And a fun DJ to keep the action going.

We had some proud grandparents celebrating T’s communion.

And lots of family and friends to help make the day even more special.

It was great seeing you, T. Hope you enjoy the pictures. If you’d like to see all the images from the day, please click HERE.
