the led family
If you are a blog follower, you will remember these gorgeous girls from holiday season 07. And although the older one has come a looooong way with me from last time, they are quite the challenge to get together in one shot. The older girl really, really did NOT like me last time…so much so that she cried and screamed every time I put my camera up to my face. This time, we got along swimmingly (with her yelling "beth, look at me!!") and she was sweet and cute as always. The little one got so big since I last saw her, walking now and everything. Plus, she is the biggest ham ever- posing it up for me. But getting them to stay still for even one little second, nevermind together and still for one second… forget it. Thank goodness mom loves candids! And since they signed up for the growing up squared program, you’ll be seeing a lot more of them in the year to come.

My second shoot for this fantastic little family. I took pictures for them back in January and had a blast then too. But now, their little guy is a man on the move- full on walking. Almost forgot how I love that toddler toddle! Back to Brooklyn for this shoot but to the other side of the park that I was on last time in Brooklyn so I got to see some more of Prospect Park. It’s so pretty there. It was way more crowded this time, but we managed. Oh, and I found some more interesting hair.
Mr. D got completely fixated on the flowers (weeds- but we won’t tell him that!) and sat forever just checking them out and picking them. Made my life easy with him so still! We just wandered around the park taking pictures and got an ice pop at the end. He earned it!

the wed family
Here are the tiny, very new (8 days old in the pictures), adorable twins, glowing parents, and beautiful sister I mentioned over the weekend. I did a shoot for them on Saturday which turned into a three hour session. Ya, three hours. My big aplogies to the family again as I invaded their house for like ever. I usually figure on two hours for a newborn shoot, but as I really, really should have known, it took an extra hour with twins. In an average newborn shoot, there are a lot of breaks for feeding, changing, settling, etc. I guess I kinda forgot to double that. Well, let’s just hope that the family thinks the very extended shoot time was worth it once they see the pictures!
They were just the nicest family- so warm and welcoming. And calm. With 3 kids two and under. So impressive. Doesn’t mom look wonderful? She had twins via Csection 8 days ago!!! Turns out I went to High School with her and I pass her sister (didn’t know it was her sister) all the time on my way to pick up the boys from school. The world just keeps getting smaller.

the che family
Another brilliant, two doctor family (with maybe a third one someday). They will soon be moving out of New York, on to other doctor adventures in a new state. They are really excited for their big move this summer, but how they can give up that view, I don’t know. Well, I guess for more space and a yard for their adorable son who is a busy boy, the view isn’t so important.

the bol family
Had a blast with this super cute family last weekend- seriously, grandma & grandpa couldn’t be any more fun! The little girl was just a bundle of energy. Mom told me she was short an hour on her nap that day– you sure couldn’t tell! She really liked the horse and it was a little hard getting her away from him, but we managed to and she had lots of fun running and jumping and just generally being the center of attention. You can totally tell how much this little one is adored by her whole family.
Love the light in this one.
