four shoots, one day! Family #1- the “cost” family
I ended up with four shoots today, due to yesterday’s bad weather, the originally scheduled ones for today, and one make up from a few weeks back. Luckily, everyone today was great- babies, kids, adults- everyone cooperated very well. Spent tonight editing like crazy as this week I have seven (yes, seven) shoots- if the weather holds up.
Here is the first family from today- the "cost" family. The only one done so far. Super sweet, cute baby, great weather. Awesome results! Hope you guys love them too! A few of my favorites:

the “mar” family
Had a great shoot yesterday with these cuties and their extremely sweet mom. Ends up that we almost know eachother- a lot of friends in common. And her husband knows my husband from all of John’s years of bartending around the area. These kids were so great and so easy- especially considering their young ages. Great listeners. But when they were done, they were SO DONE. The poor little girl got bit by a mosquito at the end, and it must have been a very hungry, viscious mosquito cause it gave her quite a big bite. There were no more pictures after that. Good thing we were winding it up anyway. Again the shoot was over at Tanglewood. I am loving that spot. Can you tell?
And the trees are getting prettier and prettier. I have another 3 shoots scheduled there this weekend and I am so looking forward to them all. And how adorable is the little boy with his pokey-out tounge. It was sticking out all the time-too cute!
Hope you like them all J.

the “mor” family
This adorable little girl is one of Timmy’s very best friends. I just love her and her family. Which works out well, since at this rate we are going to be in-laws sometime in the future. I have become good friends with her mom. I even have her drinking the "scrapbook kool-aid"! And she has a real talent for that! We have had lots of fun scrapping while the kids are in school or at my class. We had a great photoshoot late this afternoon and it went super. As you can see, mom is pregnant and will be finding out really soon (like tommorrow) if she is expecting a boy or girl. I can’t wait!!! She promised that we can go shopping together- and really, if you are not having the baby yourself, how much fun can you have helping a friend spend her money on adorable baby stuff!!
We had a great shoot and I think even Dad had a good time. Well, maybe not GOOD, but not bad. I’m just glad he dosen’t hate me (like all the other husbands) because of the scrapbooking (and I must admit I got mom hooked on photography-not a cheap hobby either!) and the photography. The best part (besides the good pictures)? We ended up having an impromptu dinner over here from a good local rib place. Yum. Timmy couldn’t have been any happier that his best buddy was here to play!
I know there are a lot of pictures posted, but I have so many favorites (and because I know them so well) that I just couldn’t choose.

the “arl” family
Had a photoshoot this morning for another lovely family over at my new favorite spot. Had a great time with this group. Love that mom and dad were so easy going and the boys were great. They were SO happy to get out of the dressier clothes and into the sports gear. And they loved the jumping.
And the wrestling. Oh boy, there sure was a lot of wrestling. But I let them go at it cause it was all in good fun, they got loose, and I guessed (correctly according to mom) that this was the way it is at home.
I laughed so hard taking the picture above with the parents holding hands and the boys wrestling on the ground behind them.
Hope you guys like the pictures, too. -
Today’s shoot (aka more gorgeous kids)
Okay, so does anyone have unattractive children??? I am telling you (and you can see) that all these kids are just gorgeous. Today’s family, "the culls", were certainly no exception. Three great, sweet, polite kids who were so fabulous to photograph. The oldest girl was a bit shy at first, but by the end I managed to get her to loosen up a bunch and she really hammed it up for me nicely. The little boy was all energy and lovey. A great combination. And the baby is just delish and I swear, nothing but happy. I mean all the time. Even when she was vibrating in the stroller going over the bumpy ground paths.
Mom was just wonderful. She was a real help with getting the baby situated and looking at me. Sorry about your full sweat, J. I hope you think it was worth it once you see the pix. And I WILL figure out where it is I know you from. These pictures of the three kids are a surprise for their daddy for his birthday next week. So if you know this family, don’t spill the beans to daddy!! There were far too many pictures to choose from, so here are a bunch. The rest of the pictures are in an album on the left under "the cull family" (not to be confused with the "cul" family).
