My very first year photographing this awesome crew and hopefully not my last! Even though I got a bit of a shy vibe from the little guy in the first few minutes, we became fast friends. I knew I’d win him over with my ladder! Never underestimate the power of a small ladder and fart noises. I loved their styling- their outfits were awesome! Perfect fall colors and textures that just enhanced the people wearing them and fit in with the foliage and setting. If you listen close enough, you can hear the giggles and hugs.

I have only photographed this crew once before, but you can bet i was so happy to have them in front of my camera again! I think the son was particularly happy that we got it done in quick time- most boys aren’t much for pictures! (yeah, first hand experience here x3!) The last time I photographed them it was with their whole giant extended family(including 5 cousins aged 9 months-10 years), so a session with just the two kids was a breeze. I did ask mom & dad to jump in one photo just for them which they did, but since it’s just for them and the kids, I won’t be posting it. But these kiddos are super cute so they can have the spotlight for now.

I love photographing this crew, especially the utter craziness with their giant dogs! We hit up two locations this year, because bringing the giant dogs to the park was just way too much. Mom did such an amazing job decorating the front of their house for fall so I was extra glad to be able to capture that too.

I”m always so happy to go up to Connecticut to see and photograph these adorable babydoll girls (who are now pretty big girls!) and family. Its so hard for me not being able to hug my favorite little clients, but just add that to the list of crap for 2020/21. At least I got to photograph them at all. Hoping for some hugs this year.

Sometimes, shoots don’t go exactly as planned- especially when there are toddlers involved. But I love a family that just laughs their way thru it and makes the best of what comes. Miss Annie wasn’t having it. Just not any of it. I got almost smiles in the verrrry beginning of the session but then that was all she was going to give me and I just tried to not get her angry(ier). It mostly didn’t work. But it was good for a few laughs from all of us.
