the pola family
A brand new to bsquared family (referred by the dad’s brother Don, whose family I also photographed in the past- so thank you for the reccomendation!) with the most photogenic little man! I just loved their playful relationship, their son’s awesome vocabulary and his amazing expressions! He’s so stinking cute!! We had the strangest weather evening at the beach- hazy skies like crazy with the california wildfires smoke making their way out this way. It kinda caused a pinkish haze over some of the pictures which I had never seen before. It made editing interesting. I hope I’ll get to photograph them again in the future so I get to watch Mr. B grow up!

the crof family
I’ve been photographing this bunch for like ever- since the middle son was a newborn. I am so so thankful for all my repeat bsquared families who trust me year after year with their kids and memories. I love watching them grow every year. Love these little blondies, even though they were routing for the TB Lightning when they were in the playoffs against the Islanders.

matthew’s christening
I’m so lucky to have photographed so many of this family’s milestones, family sessions and celebrations over the years and this event was no exception. Styled by the fabulous Jennifer Evans Events, not a detail was missed, even at their smaller in size and outdoor party. Matthew is such a cute and happy little baby and I know everyone wishes him a lifetime of happiness and blessings. Congratulations to Matthew’s parents, brothers, godparents, grandparents and the whole family! So happy to see so many of my bsquared people/friends there too!

the marc kids
As promised, here’s the “regular” portrait session from yesterday’s dance session. These kids are all so incredibly good looking, it’s almost a little annoying! I got the best BEST little boy hugs and a kiss on the cheek at the end of the session- ok, I know thats like illegal now, but cmon. Would you really turn down a hug from him? And in another life, he’s actually my kid. His mom told me that one day he asked for goldfish for a snack, but either when she said no or wasn’t fast enough getting them, he yelled “give me some fucking goldfish!!!!” He’s three. And my son in another reality.

tiny dancer at sunset
This is actually part of a family session (i’ll post that tomorrow) but I had to make a post just for Gabby and her amazing ballet. If you are a bsquared follower, I hope you’ll remember some of her past photos and her being in THE Nutcracker at Lincoln Center twice. She’s now aged out of Nutcracker (I’m so sad!! But I guess if there’s a good year for that its 2020 since there will be no ballet season anyway) and will continue to dance at NYCB for the next few years hopefully, until they decide if she can be part of the company at 17 or 18. In the meantime, I’ll be asking to photograph her again so I can get my dance fix in.
