Sunday’s shoots: the arg family
LOVED this shoot! Not only are all the subjects gorgeous, I had a great time at Ms.A’s house, and I got to feed the baby. Must say that I didn’t miss that disgusting formula smell (the baby is on soy formula-*shudder*) but the feeding/holding part was so fun. Don’t get any ideas. I liked doing it, and then giving the baby right back!
Anyway, this is Ms.A and her family which has now grown by one little baby girl. She was Jack’s teacher for first grade and I just adore her. She is soooo warm and fuzzy and such a great teacher. (The Pow baby’s mom was Patrick’s first grade teacher- we lucked out on teachers and we LOVED 1st grade!!) Jack was so excited that I was doing this shoot and was dying to come along. Their older daughter is just the cutest thing ever! Did you ever see the movie Curly Sue? Well, this is her, just younger, sweeter, and blonder! We had lots of fun. Well, when Ms.A wasn’t driving me nuts! I hope you love them M!

Sunday’s shoots: [mini-session] the rya family
A good friend of mine and her family. They used to share a locker with us down at the beach, but we have since all outgrown our little tiny closet, and now we both have our own lockers down there. Their middle child and my twins are the same age and their dad is my boys religion teacher. So lots going on between the two of us!
Their little girl was far less than happy to see me today. I think we managed to nab a few shots of her though. Hopefully enough for a card anyway! The boys were so great and did everything I asked of them- so thanks, guys!

Saturday shoots: [mini-session: the amb family]
Can’t get away from the good looking kids! Loved these two seriously irish looking ones. They were FREEZING but they really pulled it together and did a great job. And the little girl was sorta upset about her temporary tattoo on her arm that wouldn’t budge. So I promised her I would photoshop it out– which I did. Loved her in her poofy red dress- princess of the woods! And the little boy couldn’t have more twinkle in his eye. Such a lady-killer already. Oh, these parents are in BIG trouble!
This was the last shoot for Saturday…now on to Sunday’s three.

Saturday shoots: [mini-session] the bart family
Our good friends wanted pictures of their three beautiful girls for Christmas. The oldest is John’s goddaughter and my extremely reliable, wonderful, babysitter. Isn’t she just gorgeous!!?? She’s so grown up, I can’t even stand it. The middle daughter cannot STAND having her picture taken and just barely tolerates me. Barely. We had quite a bit of eyerolling there. She didn’t like it for her communion this spring, and she didn’t like it today either! The littlest one is the biggest love- always gives hugs and kisses, even if you just saw her five minutes before. And her froggy- this frog has been with her since she was born and dosen’t ever leave her side. He even goes to school in her backpack every single day.
You may recognize Dad as Mr. Incredible from a blog post back in September. He is the sweetest guy (well, not so much when I interrupted his Michigan football game to take pictures. The middle daughter gets that anti-photography gene from her dad, no question) and ALL kids love him. And not only is mom very photogenic, she is an amazing labor and delivery nurse. Don’t know how she works and keeps those girls together so well!

Saturday shoots: the cle family
What a fun bunch this family was! It was a great start to the day. Although it was realllllly cold. I looked extremely fashionable in by ridiculous hat and Uggs, but had to keep warm! I kept telling dad to loosen up, just cause he was sooooo uncomfortable in front of the camera. I think I got a few of him getting loose. The kids were great and real troopers in the cold. I think they had some fun. The little girl was totally freezing and had definitely had it by the end. Got some great ones though. More good looking families- love it! And thanks to the whole family for laying in the cold, wet grass! I think it paid off in the end!
