    the mck family [mini-session]

The last one from yesterday. Whew.

Although we were missing one sibling, the shoot went well. These two are "the dancer’s" younger siblings and really just as nice and sweet as she is. All three were supposed to come yesterday so we could get a good Christmas card shot. However, the oldest girl’s birthday was the other day and a few of her friends from school threw her a surprise party at the last minute. So, instead of a group shot, I got a few good individual ones that could match the dancer’s head shots so we can put together a card anyway. They were troopers even though it was getting a little chilly out and were doing everything I asked of them- and came up with a few great ideas of their own, too. the wal family

Part of yesterday’s shoots. This was the Wal family and they were really sooo cute together. The little girl is a complete baby-doll. She seriously looks like a little doll- so beautiful. Somehow she became my little friend, asking me to pick her up toward the end. So sweet. She’s not even two yet but her speaking abilities are unreal. I really thought she was at least 2.5- very impressive. Mom and Dad were so nice and very helpful. I had a bunch of favorites from the shoot- it’s so hard to choose which ones to post since she is so photogenic and the interaction is so sweet. the mcg family

Another one from today. The younger boy goes to school with my boys and I met his mom a few years back (they were not in the same class until 1st grade) and we became fast friends. I think we all (at least I did) had a really fun time at the shoot and the boys had a great time well….just being boys. A lot of wrestling and running. And that’s when I got the good, natural, non stiff smiles. A fun family, so it the interaction was real and easy. I like it! And C, I am keeping my promise about none of "those" pictures on the main page! Img_8893sl_2 Img_9018sc Img_8969sl Img_9047mids Img_8925sl Img_8960sl Img_9002sc

    The sil family- minisession

I did pictures for this wonderful family a few times now…and went back today for a mini session for holiday cards. The mom is so nice and has sent much business my way in recent months, so thank you for everything, E. We are definitely going out, but after the holidays! The little girl got so big since the summer and the little boy is now in Kindergarten and learned so many new great things. Mom got the little girl some new RED shoes but they are about a size too big. So we got a huge laugh watching her CLOMP around with too big shoes. And then they fell off which she wasn’t happy about. But they looked great in the pictures. No one said beauty isn’t painful. Img_8818sl Img_8839sl Img_8863sl Img_8831sl

#2 for today- the per family

Today’s second shoot was a Christmas session over at (where else?) Tanglewood. I met the mom in my scrapbook class. She is as sweet as can be and is starting to drink that scrapbook coolaid! Unfortunately, the weather was a bit (well, a lot) on the cold side so we kinda had to make it quick- especially for the little girls in their adorable but sleevless dresses. Even shot a few in the coats, just cause they were so awesome! The littlest one had it toward the end, so we did pretty well considering. Hope you can find something you love for the card, K.
