    f.p.c’s headshots

Brother to both a bride that I previously photographed, and a friend from town, this handsome fellow needed some headshots for work. So he was gracious enough to come over to me, and we did a few quick ones for him. Very business, business casual, and golf casual.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I’m photographing a newborn today and a BatMitzvah tomorrow. Busy, busy.

    the wilo family

My sister in law gifted this fantastic (and very photogenic) family with a bsquared session and as it turns out, mom and I know eachother from rollaround. It was great actually meeting and chatting (and thanks so much M for the shake mix- I finally tried it and think I’m going to do it!). Are the children not absolutely gorgeous?!

I don’t know if it’s the outfit, or the pose, or the haircut, but he’s so 1960’s here and I love it! None of my tricks worked with this little one to squeak out even the smallest, most fleeting smile. Well, at least he wasn’t crying.  Mommy got one, though! You can see where the kids get their looks from. Great meeting you  all. Inez- thanks for the great family to shoot!!

    the boha family

After rescheduling this shoot twice due to kids with injuries (one with stitches after running into a door, one with scrapes due to a face plant on the front stoop) I finally was able to get over there to take some pictures of all of them, including the new baby. Who was quite delicious, I might add. As were all the kids!

Do you just love the chunk? This little one (the one who ran into a door and needed stitches) will be in Kindergarten with Timmy next year. I can totally see them being fast friends.  Silly, happy girls! He was so good and mellow. He’s a little older now, so no sleeping shots but he’s just yum nonetheless.  Thanks to all of you! You made it so fun and I’m glad I was able to photoshop out the remaining boo-boos!

    the petr communion

I’m sure that if you are a blog stalker you will recognize this gorgeous family from previous bsquared shoots. And while I have never done a shoot for them before (they were guests at another communion last year where I took their picture and mom & dad were at a few parties that I have photographed as well) I was so happy to do one for them this time, celebrating their twins first communion.

Dad and I went to high school together and it’s always nice doing work for people you already know.  A few details from the party. Another favorite bsquared family was there to celebrate too.  So, so pretty Miss A.  How cute is that baby?!  How is it possible to have this many good looking people in one family? Such  boys.  I think everyone had a great time.  Jerry is working on a fabulous video of the day and I’ll get that posted as soon as it’s ready.

    the dawa family

You may remember this couple and this absolutely beyond fabulous location from a shoot last summer. They were expecting their very first baby and were so gracious in letting us use their home and grounds for a photoshoot for one of their friends/my clients and while we were there, I took a few pictures of them too. They live on an old estate on the North Shore where the husband is the estate manager among other things. This place is really, completely drool worthy. It’s about a 5 minute ride from the gate up to their house and I seriously could cry it’s so gorgeous there. The grounds are huge (really huge)  and a photographers dream.

And then, I saw the baby. Oh my. He’s gorgeous. His parents are from the middle east (dad) and Sweden (mom). Like the Irish/El Salvador combination, it’s a winner!!

Part of the grounds to which I was referring earlier.  This is grandma who was visiting from Sweden. She was a huge help with getting the smiles! What a happy boy! And I was informed that this happy boy will grow up speaking no less than 4 languages. He’s already got 3 covered.  Again, right outside their house!  Pot ‘o baby anyone? He wasn’t so sure about this shot, but when his mom plopped him in the giant flower pot without me even asking, I knew this family was right up my alley!! (as if the location wasn’t enough) So great seeing you all again and meeting baby G. He was a pleasure and thank you again for inviting me back to your amazing home!
