    2010 holiday card collection SALE

Yes, it’s that time of the year. Sorta. I know, I don’t want to think about the summer ending either, nevermind the holidays! But perhaps this special promotion will help you feel better about things. If you have already had your shoot with me and would like to use those pictures to order your holiday cards now, you will receive 15% off of your order if you place the order by 8/31. So you can be one of  “THOSE MOMS” and have your holiday cards all wrapped up and ready to go before the kids even go back to school! Now, that would be nice, right?

Introducing the 2010 bsquared holiday card collection. There are over 25 different designs to choose from, something for everyone.

    Some guidelines:

    • the colors shown on cards can usually be changed as you wish.
    • sentiment wording can also be changed to read differently (on almost every card- some space parameters apply)
    • overall designs CANNOT be changed or altered.(this includes adding additional pictures or removing the space for pictures)
    • cards come in packages of 25.
    • cards are offered in 5×7 flat double sided or folding (depending on card), or 4×5.5 folding.
    • A few designs will be offered in 5×5 tri-fold cards- please email me for details.

    happy 11th birthday, boys!!

Just a super quick post (as we are going to go back to the beach today to enjoy the day as much as we can) to wish my big boys a very happy 11th birthday. We love you both so much and you bring us so much joy every day. You are both such wonderful, smart, amazing people and we couldn’t be more proud of you than we are!!

And on a cool note, their birthday today is 8-9-10 and they are 11.

    the owen baby

Everyone (but especially mom and dad who have struggled through years of infertility) including me has been waiting on pins and needles for this baby to arrive. Mom is a very good friend of mine (and dad too- thanks for the couch help this week!!) and I was so thrilled for them when I found out they were expecting! Someone new for me to photograph since I adore photographing their gorgeous daughter. This was the first baby that I guessed the sex correctly, too!!

Welcome baby B!!! You are gorgeous, so wanted, and loved enormously by many!!

    Such a beautiful family!!!
Doesn’t he look so happy in his big sister’s arms?!
Ok, he’s exactly one week old here. With crazy good eye contact!! He’s going to be a joy to photograph!! Congratulations to all of you and much love!!

    coach graeme

Our favorite soccer coach from back in the NOGA days came all the way from London to visit us. We last saw Graeme 3 years ago when he was here still doing the NOGA thing, but he has since gotten a ‘big boy’ job at Microsoft and now lives in London full time. He was actually in the US for a conference in Georgia and after me guilting him into it, he came up here for a few days.

And although he spends most of his visits with us napping (he always comes to us at the end of his trips after staying up too late and going out too much for too long, but at least he leaves here less tired than he came, so that’s a good thing) it’s always great to have him ‘home’. I’m hoping that his sister comes to stay with us for a bit next summer- we already had his parents over for Thanksgiving 2 years ago. I even got to speak to Graeme’s mum while we were at the beach.  It’s a whole family affair! And you never know, maybe one day we’ll actually make it to England to visit.

The boys tortured Graeme as much as possible at the beach.

Graeme- thanks for making the extra trip to visit us. Hope you had a great time. And hoping you’ll come back again soon!

p.s. hope the brownies were a big hit and that the sleeping pill for the plane worked!

  • i'm with the band

    the turn @ longhorns

Last month (omg, how can it be August already) I caught my favorite band for some pictures. Originally, they were supposed to be playing at a new place in town (hence the pictures- a new venue). However, when they arrived, it was closed. On Tuesdays. Always. So they don’t know why they booked them for a Tuesday when they aren’t ever open then anyway. So, their usual bar/restaurant in town was nice enough to let them come play over there instead.

Think it’s going to be a while until I get used to Brian without his glasses.

Always great listening to them play and sing, no matter which venue they are at. If you ever get a chance, go check them out. They are playing in Manhattan almost every night of the week.
