    the nico family

A new to bsquared family who I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing thru many mutual friends/clients.

Three gorgeous kids (including a set of twin boys) with a brand new (also gorgeous) little brother as well.

The look says “lady, you crazy”. He was the best sleepy little guy. Don’t you just love the little toes sticking up? Thanks to all of you for a great shoot, and for braving the cooler-than-we-thought-it-was-going-to-be weather.

    the mori family

A photoshoot in Central Park on a beautiful afternoon/early evening with really good friends? Lovely. Really, really just perfect.

We hung out mainly in the Bethesda Terrace area, going around by the boathouse and the lake a little too. After Daddy (yeah, thanks Dave) was whacking me in the head with the giant balloon, Mr. G thought that would be pretty fun to try himself. This was actually our last shot for the night- Sharon and I both saw this bridge/tunnel and say “ooohhhhhh” at the exact same time. We knew we had to get everyone down there for at least one shot. The violinist was really fantastic and just another reason to love CP and NYC- you just never know what you are going to find around the next bend.  Because this shoot and the one I posted from CP on Saturday were so awesome, I’m going to do a few full days shooting at Central Park in the spring, summer and fall. So keep on visiting the blog for that announcement with dates and times available for Central Park sessions.

    our trip to jamaica

Ok, so this should give you some indication of how really, really far behind I am on editing personal pictures. We went to Jamaica in May. 5 months ago. Well, here they are nonetheless.

We were in Jamaica because of the wedding of Tim & Caren, I was there to photograph their fantastic wedding weekend. Brought the boys and John with me and we made a little vacation out of it. We stayed at Beaches Sandy Bay which was nice (but next time- if there ever is a next time we’d stay at the other bigger Beaches. It was definitely way nicer).

Some various shots from the trip.

    Patrick star. For reals.
The water was so warm and calm and we spent hours in the ocean. The lazy river at the other Beaches. And waterslides. By the way- do you know how hard it is to get this shot with the point and shoot camera? I’m so used to the speed of the 5d and so uncoordinated with the lag on the p&s. Frustrating!! But I did get it. Sorta. Can you see the pouring rain in the photo on the right? It rained every single day we were there. Except one. Poor Caren & Tim even had to wait a few extra hrs for their wedding to get started because of a storm. We went kayaking in the ocean every single day. That was SO fun!! Even with Timmy at the front of the boat turning around to me and yelling- ROW, SLAVE. NO BREAKS!So the boys and I got a lift back from the big Sandals to our Sandals via Jet Ski. We all loved that too. Timmy used to LOVE Sesame Street but now won’t have one thing to do with them. But the boys were good sports, posing with Elmo and Cookie. Elmo would be found walking by our room every now and then. The view from our balcony. It didn’t suck. Back to client sessions tomorrow. Have a great Sunday! We’re booked with birthday parties and a backyard BBQ. I’m sure there will be pictures to follow- but maybe not until February or so….

    the hus2 family

I’ve actually lost count on how many sessions I’ve had with this wonderful NYC family (I think this might be either #4 or 5) but I adore seeing them every year, especially miss K- the burberry princess. I asked her mom if she wears Burberry everyday (non-photoshoot days) and she started to say no- I told her not to tell me. I’d rather think that she did wear it. All the time.

Hit the “rambles” area of Central Park, and then over to the Castle- which couldn’t have been more perfect for the princess.

A little mommy and daddy moment. And this area near the puppet theatre was beautiful as well. Love Central Park!!
