    the sand family

If you are a blog stalker, I have no doubt you’ll recognize this lovely family from a few times we’ve worked together the last few years. It’s so great being able to get to know them better (even though mom and I went to school together forever!) and have everyone feel much more comfortable around me/my camera as time goes by.

We did the shoot at their home this time and it was beautiful there. They were recovering from a verrrrrry late night the night before- they had a big party. But they were all “on” for the shoot and you would never have known it.

The boys are such good, smart, respectful kids. They totally remind me of kids from Dead Poets Society or School Ties or something. Gorgeousness. I had to push mom over (we were both already on the ground, but still had to do it to get the kids to smile) to get this shot. But whatever it takes. Thanks T for being a good sport.

    the back family

A quick little mini session for these great kids and their “vicious” dog. I’m sure that if you are a blog stalker, you will remember the dog from last year! He looks ready to kill, but he’s actually so sweet. I just always manage to catch him in a yawn that looks deadly!

They just recently moved into a new home and I loved the beautiful finish on the walls. And although mom wasn’t home (their lovely aunt was there to help out with the shoot) the kids were great and easy. And photogenic!

    the coko family

Friends and clients, baseball and fire department. It’s all intertwined and it’s all good. And so was the photoshoot.

I just loved how they love eachother! And torture eachother. So mom made dad take the christmas decorations out of the basement and set them up for the shoot. Only for them to be taken down the same day and returned to the basement. And…then brought back up for the real thing in 3 weeks. Yeah, he hates me. A little baseball and ballet.  You might recognize the baseball player from the boys team from the fall and summer.  Thanks for a great shoot. And sorry about the decorations, B. Don’t hate me forever- we have lots more baseball to go!!

    the agre family

It’s so nice to have the great mix of repeat and new bsquared clients that I do. I love meeting new people,  capturing their kids in action and in the end, really making new friends. Another new addition to the bsquared family with 4 great kids (a lot of 4 child families lately- it used to be a lot of 3’s). Such cuties!!

Ok, I know dad thought I was nuts with putting the baby on the foyer floor (and asking him to move the rug so I could put her right in the middle) but it was too good to pass up!

Love the face on the left. It’s kinda like he’s saying “are you kidding me?”And the whole bunch!

    the mcdo family

I’ve been photographing this family since their oldest son was just a little baby. They used to live in the same apartment building as my mom but have since moved to a beautiful new house in another town. And although I miss seeing them around the ‘adult dorm’ when I visit, I’m so happy for them that they have a nice, big place for their growing family.

They’ve recently added another adorable boy to the mix and I swear to you that this baby does NOT cry. He was the sweetest, smiliest little guy ever.

The ‘big’ brother just loves his new little brother so much. And I can say that the feeling is mutual because in 90% of the family shots the baby is only looking at his big brother. Told you he was the smiliest. Handsome dude. Can’t believe how he’s grown since we first met. How time does fly.Beautiful mommy, beautiful boys. The shot on the right is an ‘always’- a staple since I first started working with the family. Thanks for being so great to work with and thanks also for being so flexible on the reschedule!
