    the demil family

I do love extended family shoots, especially when they are for a really happy occassion like a wedding anniversary. Had a great one with tons of good looking family members including a friend/past client and a high school friend.

Yeah, that’s a whole lotta people!

How it all began…The afore mentioned friend and HS friend. Janine, I can tell you reeeeeeeally didn’t want me to take the picture, but your gorgeous anyway! And Maura, you are looking way too young!A little pool fun at the end. All 9 grandchildren. We worked hard for this shot, including a ball being bounced off of my head.  Thanks for a fun end for what was a very busy day for me. Wishing I could’ve dove right into that pool, too!

    the griff family

Another new to bsquared family who I just adored. Such truly nice, nice people with great smiles and a fun and loving family dynamic. Can you ask for more than that?

Totally think that this guy and my boys would be friends if they knew eachother. A beauty with freckles. Loooooove the freckles. And I was told this one was the ‘wild card’. She was awesome and photographs amazingly!Mom is an OT and a published author of Picky, picky Pete. A book about a boy with sensory issues. She has a new book coming out soon, too! So awesome!!Cutest couple!! Great meeting all of you! Hope you enjoy the rest of your summer!!

    floods & fireworks

So this past weekend, we had a great beach day despite the floods. It was high tide (really high tide) and there was no getting away from it. We had already moved our stuff once and this time we just decided to stay put. At least it kept our feet cool.Yup, the bottom of my chair was underwater. High tide and huge waves. John is a good example of ‘come hell or high water’. He’ll never not read his papers at the beach. And I made 2 shoe trees cause they just kept floating away. Patrick and Mike after braving the huge waves all day. We sat right behind the Sullivans and they moated up which worked for a long time. But then even they went the way of the flood. I think Suzanne still had a nice birthday. Timmy’s buddy Patrick. The boys and Robert have really hit it off and I’m so glad we finally got them together! This one was especially for Ms. McClain. Rob says “I’m Timmy’s favorite!”Love these boys. Even if they hate pictures. And then we were off to the fireworks. Change of plans this year and we watched the fireworks from the firehouse. It was so nice there that I think this might just be our new basecamp for the fireworks in the coming years. All the kids watched them from on top of the truck- so fun! (but it was so dark that I couldn’t get any pictures). Shuttle launch or fireworks?I got bored taking the same old fireworks shots, so I tried something new this year just for fun. Kinda cool, don’t you think? This one looks like a dandelion.

    the tepp family

A brand new to bsquared family who I had the pleasure of photographing at one of my favorite locations- Stepping Stone Park. The little guy was a trooper and held it together as long as he could but had to have a little nap break in the middle of the shoot. He woke up (well, we kinda woke him up!) and was all smiles thereafter. We lucked out with the nap, smiles and the weather. And can you die of the hat?Had to take one of the nap. It was nice as mom and I got to chit chat and I took a picture or two (or fifteen) of her while daddy held onto the little guy. Between the drool and the finger biting, I think someone’s getting some toofs. Gorgeous. That is all. Nothin but smiles for mommy. Great meeting you all!! Thanks for a fun morning!

    adam’s graduation

Known this guy since he turned one. Seventeen years later, this is what happens…Yeah, I still can’t believe it either. Everyone (including Aunt Beth) is so proud of you Adam! Can’t wait to hear all about your amazing adventures in South America this coming year.

Adam will be going to Peru, Costa Rica and Uruguay with the WAVES program, where he will be doing all kinds of amazing things. Working with families (especially children) at the poverty level, teaching english, teaching surfing, coordinating activities, & working with the kids there on environmentally friendly projects. And my personal favorite: working with endangered sea turtles (rehabilitation, rescues, and community/tourist education). He’ll be away on this adventure from October- February. Can’t wait to see pictures!!!

The whole family. Who I love.

Geez, handsome much?Heidi’s side of the family……and Joe’s side of the family. These two are so close, I think I’m going to have to do a lot of distracting to help Heidi make it thru Adam’s leaving.
My pretty girls. Ok, Rachel? Did I do alright??And a few goofy shots. Aunt Heidi torturing the boys. This is what usually happens when they are together.Patrick is Joe’s godson. Soon after this was taken, he picked Patrick up and threw him in the pond (well, not in exactly. Just hung him upside down over it for a while). These two have a real love/hate relationship. He loves her, she hates (ok, barely tolerates) him. But she thought she looked really good in the last picture I took of them together, so now she always wants one with Johnny B. His other mother.Delicious curls I couldn’t pass up. Beauties. Don’t know if its his expression, or the angle or what, but I see the little Adam in this one. Awww….they’re all gonna miss him.

    A lot! Love you guys!

Adam’s prom pictures coming soon, stay tuned for those.
