    shayna’s graduation brunch

A brand new to bsquared family that was celebrating their daughter’s high school graduation with a special brunch at the Viana hotel with some close friends and family. Shayna is such a great young lady and very photogenic too! I was happy to meet and photograph them for a little while during their celebrations. Everyone was so nice and friendly and Shayna was surrounded but lots of love! Wishing her the best of luck in all her future endeavors!

    prom sisters

Because both girls were invited to the prom (one is a senior who you may recognize from the pre-prom shoot i just posted, and the other is a sophomore) my friend Deb asked me to stop by and take a few pictures of the girls all dressed and made up. They looked lovely and are really nice young women to boot. I hope they both had a great time at prom!

    gillian’s pre-prom party

I had the pleasure of photographing Gillian’s pre-prom (for SSHS’s prom) a week and a half ago at her beautiful home. The kids and families were all super nice and everyone was very excited for the days/evening’s events. It was blazing hot out and I have no idea how these kids looked so good and so cool, but they did. Meanwhile, I was sweating like a was running a marathon (ok, so what i think it would be like if i did ever run a marathon, but we all know that would never, ever, ever happen). I hope they all had a wonderful night at the prom and a happy graduation the next day!

    noah’s bar mitzvah

Its like the bsquared bar/bat mitzvah central over here lately. I photographed Noah’s sister’s bat mitzvah a few years ago and I was so happy to be asked back for Noah’s special day. I did a little ninja photographer action and snuck in one or two shots at the end of the service thru the closed doors of the sanctuary. We snuck outside for a few quick shots and then it was off to the party downstairs. I love this family’s tradition of having everyone who is asked to light a candle must speak about the bar mitzvah boy (not just have the bar mitzvah boy say some things about them). It was a great morning/afternoon. Congrats, Noah!
